I've been finding the protests hilarious recently, and it took me a while to realize why. Waaaay back in 2005-2007 era, there were protests about how GWB was Hitler/Stalin/ murderous bastard who randomly grabbed citizens to waterboard them before eating their liver with a nice chianti, etc. It only struck me recently that most of the idiots running around rioting and breaking things were 8 to 10 years old during that time. 12 at most. After I went and sulked over being an old fart, I realized I'm getting to experience that old saw, "history repeats itself, first as a tragedy, then as a farce. "
Granted, the first round of protests back then were hard to take seriously (a naked guy with a cock ring and inflated scrotum marching against GWB, seriously horrifying people taking part in naked bike ride protests, and so on), but these are so over the top that there is nothing you can take seriously about them. Chaining yourself to a school to protest against the Secretary of Education, acting like every single one of Trump's appointees is equally as much "literally" Hilter as Trump himself. If you can't laugh at these idiots, you have had your sense of humor removed.
TL;DR, I feel old, and the protesters are re-runs.
