China is a 70 year old country wearing a skin suit (not even made by them, mind you) of a patchwork of older cultures that’s it’s dyed in a color called “Han”.

The whole dynasty bullshit was made up, it’s less connected than the Roman Kingdom, Roman Republic, Roman Empire, and the pretenders that followed. The US does take inspiration from Rome and Greece, but it never fucking has said it’s the successor of Rome like some European and Arab countries have done. China pretends it’s the successor of the Middle Kingdom (basically like that made-up Mexican Kingdom that chollos pretend was most of the continental US) while the previous government still exists and mocks them.

The then inventing everything just reminds of pajeets. SAAAR SAAAAR did u know that China makes pig latrines first? CHINA NUMBA WAN!!!!

They are the biggest threat to America, but it’s ignoring that both countries have huge fucking issues. They’re never going to fight unless Xi’s successor is more retarded than he is.

Buddy if you would have got me a few years I would have given ya all you wanted and then some

Shit happens and changes what you see as important and unimportant. Guess its growth, idk. I try to focus on remembering the human and how we could all use a little understanding ESPECIALLY from the people who we disagree with or see as "wrong". It just helps everyone blood pressure in the long run you know?

I respect your opinion on the shit even if I dont agree, id sooner fight in the streets for your right to have free speech to ideas I disagree with than I ever will be to being convinced to turn on my fellow man for ideological reasons.
Debate is good for the brain, even if it does get heated. Ancient Greeks used to get into fist fights over it.
The Constitution was not written with Unanimous consent.

Legit question, does the judge even have the authority to do this?
the constitution put VERY few close ended restraints on federal judges, they are arguably the most powerful lobbyist group in the whole world so it would be hard to present a legal case for it.

This is going to get messy very fast, alot of our government has relied on atleast a sizeable portion of the people in power "playing the game" so to speak, that's all going away.

We could start to see federal judges hauled before congressional or military hearings to determine why they are making the decisions they are making and that's best case scenario, worst is trump start unilaterally disbarring sitting judges.

You know the whole "checks and balances" thing? executive and legislative have very few "checks" over each other since Marbury vs Madison just long term laws and power of purse. Its the judiciary the founding father counted on to never become politicized and to operate as the final arbiters of justice and what is right.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Policy and Purpose. Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions. This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.

Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding. Moreover, these vulnerable youths’ medical bills may rise throughout their lifetimes, as they are often trapped with lifelong medical complications, a losing war with their own bodies, and, tragically, sterilization.

Accordingly, it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.

Sec. 2. Definitions. For the purposes of this order:

(a) The term “child” or “children” means an individual or individuals under 19 years of age.

(b) The term “pediatric” means relating to the medical care of a child.

(c) The phrase “chemical and surgical mutilation” means the use of puberty blockers, including GnRH agonists and other interventions, to delay the onset or progression of normally timed puberty in an individual who does not identify as his or her sex; the use of sex hormones, such as androgen blockers, estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone, to align an individual’s physical appearance with an identity that differs from his or her sex; and surgical procedures that attempt to transform an individual’s physical appearance to align with an identity that differs from his or her sex or that attempt to alter or remove an individual’s sexual organs to minimize or destroy their natural biological functions. This phrase sometimes is referred to as “gender affirming care.”

Sec. 3. Ending Reliance on Junk Science. (a) The blatant harm done to children by chemical and surgical mutilation cloaks itself in medical necessity, spurred by guidance from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), which lacks scientific integrity. In light of the scientific concerns with the WPATH guidance:

(i) agencies shall rescind or amend all policies that rely on WPATH guidance, including WPATH’s “Standards of Care Version 8”; and

(ii) within 90 days of the date of this order, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) shall publish a review of the existing literature on best practices for promoting the health of children who assert gender dysphoria, rapid-onset gender dysphoria, or other identity-based confusion.

(b) The Secretary of HHS, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, shall use all available methods to increase the quality of data to guide practices for improving the health of minors with gender dysphoria, rapid-onset gender dysphoria, or other identity-based confusion, or who otherwise seek chemical or surgical mutilation.

Sec. 4. Defunding Chemical and Surgical Mutilation. The head of each executive department or agency (agency) that provides research or education grants to medical institutions, including medical schools and hospitals, shall, consistent with applicable law and in coordination with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, immediately take appropriate steps to ensure that institutions receiving Federal research or education grants end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.

Sec. 5. Additional Directives to the Secretary of HHS. (a) The Secretary of HHS shall, consistent with applicable law, take all appropriate actions to end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children, including regulatory and sub-regulatory actions, which may involve the following laws, programs, issues, or documents:

(i) Medicare or Medicaid conditions of participation or conditions for coverage;

(ii) clinical-abuse or inappropriate-use assessments relevant to State Medicaid programs;

(iii) mandatory drug use reviews;

(iv) section 1557 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act;

(v) quality, safety, and oversight memoranda;

(vi) essential health benefits requirements; and

(vii) the Eleventh Revision of the International Classification of Diseases and other federally funded manuals, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition.

(b) The Secretary of HHS shall promptly withdraw HHS’s March 2, 2022, guidance document titled “HHS Notice and Guidance on Gender Affirming Care, Civil Rights and Patient Privacy” and, in consultation with the Attorney General, issue new guidance protecting whistleblowers who take action related to ensuring compliance with this order.

Sec. 6. TRICARE. The Department of Defense provides health insurance, through TRICARE, to nearly 2 million individuals under the age of 18. As appropriate and consistent with applicable law, the Secretary of Defense shall commence a rulemaking or sub-regulatory action to exclude chemical and surgical mutilation of children from TRICARE coverage and amend the TRICARE provider handbook to exclude chemical and surgical mutilation of children.

Sec. 7. Requirements for Insurance Carriers. The Director of the Office of Personnel Management, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, shall:

(a) include provisions in the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) and Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) programs call letter for the 2026 Plan Year specifying that eligible carriers, including the Foreign Service Benefit Plan, will exclude coverage for pediatric transgender surgeries or hormone treatments; and

(b) negotiate to obtain appropriate corresponding reductions in FEHB and PSHB premiums.

Sec. 8. Directives to the Department of Justice. The Attorney General shall:

(a) review Department of Justice enforcement of section 116 of title 18, United States Code, and prioritize enforcement of protections against female genital mutilation;

(b) convene States’ Attorneys General and other law enforcement officers to coordinate the enforcement of laws against female genital mutilation across all American States and Territories;

(c) prioritize investigations and take appropriate action to end deception of consumers, fraud, and violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act by any entity that may be misleading the public about long-term side effects of chemical and surgical mutilation;

(d) in consultation with the Congress, work to draft, propose, and promote legislation to enact a private right of action for children and the parents of children whose healthy body parts have been damaged by medical professionals practicing chemical and surgical mutilation, which should include a lengthy statute of limitations; and

(e) prioritize investigations and take appropriate action to end child-abusive practices by so-called sanctuary States that facilitate stripping custody from parents who support the healthy development of their own children, including by considering the application of the Parental Kidnaping Prevention Act and recognized constitutional rights.

Sec. 9. Enforcing Adequate Progress. Within 60 days of the date of this order, the heads of agencies with responsibilities under this order shall submit a single, combined report to the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, detailing progress in implementing this order and a timeline for future action. The Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy shall regularly convene the heads of agencies with responsibilities under this order (or their designees) to coordinate and prepare for this submission.

Is there even a point to these LLMs? What is the payoff to these things supposed to be?
Theoretically, yes.

People point to some dumb answers from an LLM, but consider how dumb the average person is. Think of having to call into a call center to solve an issue or some chatbot or whatever. An LLM could <theoretically> replace a large amount of the humans currently staffing those positions. If they get LLMs to a decent enough point to where I would never have to talk to a pajeet again I would consider them a monumental success.

Another is to crunch large datasets and provide an output. Think if you're a government with millions or billions of documents. It's impossible for a human to go through all of them and get a coherent picture of what's happening. An LLM <theoretically> might be able to do that.

A huge one is coding. I've personally used some of the coding LLMs and while they have some rough edges they are insanely good right now. The LLM can read through billions of lines of code and Pull Requests and figure out where issues may arise or generate some decent code for you. I've personally been using it on my code and it has caught some edge cases and other issues that I missed, and that even others reviewing my code missed.

There's a website called "Joe Is Done" that has a search function for federal grants and non-profits that's quite hilarious lmao
keyword "transgender" Taxpayer Money Spent: $466,432,716.03
A long time ago I'd heard that the average American can expect to earn somewhere around a million dollars total if they're working for most of their life. I have no idea about the veracity of that figure, or how it's changed since then, but to put this mind-boggling number into perspective there are about 3.4 million people here (knock off a million for illegals if you want).

If you're assuming that old income figure I'd mentioned was accurate (or even still is) the government has flushed away the lifetime income of 28% more people than are currently living in the country. Hell, if you discount illegals and the mega rich I'm sure you'd still come out having spent more than that. The leftover is enough for another 126.4 million lifetime incomes for an average American.

That is how much the government has pissed away to satisfy a bunch of twitter fetishists who want to rape your kids.

Scoop: Top House Dems plot first big battle with Trump
Axios (archive.ph)

Leading House Democrats are weighing legal, investigative and legislative options to respond to President Trump's firing of at least a dozen agency inspectors general last week, Axios has learned.
Why it matters: The ousters — the legality of which have been questioned even by some Republicans — present the first major test of congressional Democrats' ability to counter Trump while in the minority.
  • House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) has positioned himself as the new leader of the resistance, working with Trump to keep the government afloat while opposing what he sees as threats to democracy.
  • A spokesperson for Jeffries, asked for comment on the firings, referred to a letter from his committee ranking members blasting them as illegal.
What they're saying: "We're exploring multiple avenues of action to defend the integrity of federal agencies ... everything is on the table at this point," House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) told Axios in a Monday interview.
  • Oversight Committee ranking member Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) told Axios, "We can have minority witnesses at hearings, we can have our own independent roundtables, we can have minority reports."
  • "There are tools available to us, and we're going to use everything we've got. Don't forget, in Trump 1.0 we were in the minority too. We had some signal victories."
Driving the news: Trump on Friday reportedly fired at least 12 inspectors general — with some reports putting the number at 18 and Connolly telling Axios he believes it is actually 19.
  • IGs act as internal watchdogs within federal agencies charged with investigating corruption or misconduct.
  • Trump often clashed with and ousted IGs during his first term, leading Congress to pass a law in 2022 requiring presidents to provide Congress with 30 days' notice and a "substantial rationale" for such firings.
  • Trump has defended his actions, telling reporters Saturday, "Some people thought that some were unfair or some were not doing their job. And it's a very standard thing to do."
Zoom in: Several top lawmakers proposed, as a potential first step, bolstering the ousted inspectors general in an expected court battle against Trump.
  • "The inspector generals association has already made it clear they're going to litigate, and ... any members of Congress would have standing, I believe, to join that litigation," said Natural Resources Committee ranking member Jared Huffman (D-Calif.).
  • Connolly also said he plans to introduce legislation to empower the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) to keep potential Trump replacement IGs in check.
Reality check: Republicans ultimately hold the real tools — appropriations and subpoenas — for keeping the executive branch in check, a reality Democrats are clear-eyed about.
  • "If the Democrats were in control, we would be having hearings immediately," said Raskin. "I would hope that our Republican colleagues would be as alarmed as we are, but I have a hunch they may not be."
  • Of his CIGIE bill, Connolly said: "We're in the minority so I doubt that legislation is going to pass. That doesn't mean we can't put it in the hopper and, hopefully, two years hence, address some of these issues legislatively."
The bottom line: For now, Huffman acknowledged, Democrats' most reliable avenue for recourse is "the bully pulpit, it's marshaling public opinion, it's calling out our Republican colleagues who've turned into feckless supplicants."
  • "And it's setting our sights on the 2026 midterm, when hopefully the cavalry will arrive."

Lol Biden spent 50 million dollars on condoms for Palestinians in Gaza during a "genocide"
CONDOMS FOR PALESTINE

I’m sorry that alone is proof this needed to happen, it’s probably the Jared Leto 𝓓𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓮𝓭 tattoo of an entire smorgasbord of bad funding choices. Find it all, put it all front and center for all to see!

Any bets on how long it will take for Democrats to become a unified force with a universally appealing message that could actually be a good opponent against MAGA? With how much idpol and obvious infighting between various factions, I say at least a year for an optimistic estimate.
