These people are fucking idiots
Tariffs did not cause the great depression. It was banks with the federal reserve expanding the money supply and manipulating interest rates. The banks went on to use that money to fund unsustainable growth into the stock market and created a bubble. It was extended and worsened by government policies.

The F-22 is so fucking cool. The F-35 is the cheaper mass production model by comparison.

Care to elaborate on your disdain for the F-35?
The F-35 is multirole. It does a little of everything. Mostly it's OK. The F-22? Air Superiority. Completely different beast. Product of the best minds the cold war could offer. It fights anything in the air and goes well over Mach 2. Doesn't do the bombing shit much.

Have never liked the F-35. Personally believe we need more F-22s and F-15 Strike Eagles instead.
I'm gonna agree with the F-22, even if I prefer how the YF-23 looked. At least the Russians appreciated it enough to "borrow" from it. The Air Force still needs a cheap and cheerful low end, which is why we should have built the F-16XL and put a supercruise capable engine in it. Sure, not stealth, but hell of a low end bomb and missile truck, and sexiest F-16 after the Japanese F-2.

Every day feels like Christmas morning since inauguration. Sometimes you just get socks, other times you get an ugly shirt in the wrong size your parents will force you to wear, but some days it feels like 1999 and you get a Nintendo 64 mixed in with your presents.
I think part of it is that Trump is very interactive. He knows how to interact with the public and the press. Man is a show man and relishes the spotlight. His admin is transparent because he wants to brag.

"... announced that the PROPONENT of a new initiative was ..."

Retard.

From the exact same page:

"The proponent of the measure, Marcus Evans, must collect signatures of 546,651 registered voters (five percent of the total votes cast for Governor in the November 2022 general election) in order for the measure to become eligible for the ballot. The proponent has 180 days to circulate petitions for the measure, meaning the signatures must be submitted to county elections officials no later than July 22, 2025. The address for the proponent is 6083 N. Figarden Drive, #201, Fresno, CA 93722. The proponent may also be contacted at Marcus.Ruiz.Evans@gmail.com and (415) 595-3394."

Marcus Evans is the person who created this petition.
alright you got all the info correct, im willing to be the retard, can you confirm she wasent able to kill it or even just ignore it and not allow it to progress despite meeting all the requirements?

A major difference between the Chinese and Japanese here is that when the Japs on Tanegashima island got their hands on a few firearms their first reaction was "reverse engineer this immediately" (it is only in modern times that the chinks do this as standard practice) and were able to manufacture their own in a surprisingly short amount of time. Samurai loved the fuck out of guns. Also, even during the Edo period where Japan entered into an isolationist cultural stasis they still kept up with discoveries from the European world by buying books off the Dutch and transcribing them.
Japan was far less centralised.
Each Daimyo(warlord/duke) ruled his domain with a lot of independence. Thus there was a competition incentive to create the best run societies, but without the harmful risk of war because the Shogun held every Daimyo's family hostage).
Another interesting fact was Buddhist monasteries eagerly embraced firearms, and were arguably the first Asians to utilise ranked fire.
but strapping black powder rockets onto big ass arrows is nowhere near as effective as a cannon
Some say it was European Christianity's need for churchbells that made cannons more conceptually viable, but I'm not sure, as China had big bells too.
Usha Vance's official portrait.
Did she age 15 years in a week?
Are the Vance family trying to look old to prevent people thinking they are too young.
Ford English School, which Henry Ford ran
I truly wish Elon Musk actually deserved the "Henry Ford" comparisons his detractors give him.
In more ways than I can fathom.
If biological determinism were true, then two geniuses fucking would produce a dynasty of geniuses
Genius come about when multiple recessive intelligence related allelles are expressed..
Populations tend to regress TOWARDS the norm, but not to the norm, as the intelligence genes continue on.

Our doctrine decided that dogfighting is dead and stand-off distance is king.

The F22 was built with all the horsepower specs and is the one people talk about having the radar cross section of a bumblebee. But they’re really fucking expensive to build and have limited payload capacity.

The f35 is stealth, holds a bunch of missiles and has a good-ass radar. That’s the doctrine now, until we get sixth gen swarm shit

Trump has really taken advantage of the modern internet in order to get his ideas and beliefs across people.

You pay a $2000 fee and the you get cleared to circulate petitions. Doesn't seem to be any room to deny it. (And for what reason?)

They have revived the F-15 with the EX model and are trying to bring it back as a lower cost multirole which I think is great because the F-15 is like peak 80s America rolled into a giant bomb delivery vehicle that hauls ass and can be delivered anywhere in the world via carrier group. My understanding is the F-16 is well loved but isn't a carrier craft so that's part of why it isn't given as much attention.

The F-22 is a much better investment than the F-35 imo, but because our MIC is bloated and corrupt the F-35 became a way for contractors and officials to line their pockets from the billions in project funding. It's pitiful how many great innovations in our ability to blow shit up have been stifled by balding useless fat boomers and ugly harpies.

I am absolutely in awe of the brilliance of the executive orders so far, and in particular their sequence and timing.
First he set up federal employees to expect termination and the changes have been coming so hard and fast that none of them knows if they'll have a job next week.
Then suddenly he offers a guaranteed paycheck with no conditions until September--the perfect bait for the stereotypical government worker whose highest ambition is to do nothing and get paid for it--with no knowledge of what the alternative will be and then gives them only a week to think about it.
On top of that, they've made it so amazingly easy to resign. Just type one word and hit one button.

Whoever is working with Trump right now is really fucking smart.

hello. i am reporting live from my local grocery store. i can confirm that eggs are about 4x as expensive than they usually are

unfortunately for all the mouth breathers that are suddenly concerned about consumer good prices for the average American, these outrageous price increases also apply to EVERY SINGLE ITEM

IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING STORE

FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS

The f35 has a payload capacity of 18,000 lbs. The f22 can carry two 1,000 lb jdams and a few sidewinders

If they can't do it generally, then they're not actually doing it in the more limited cases. They're just pre-programmed for narrow situations; the computer is responding to flags set up for the situations—not analyzing the situations themselves to see if they'll halt.
Theorem provers like Coq have in-built termination checkers, not exactly narrow nor pre-programmed if you ask me.
You may have misunderstood Gödel. He was saying what I'm saying. You can't use the rules of a formal system to prove that system—you need foundation from outside of it. There will always be axioms that are inuited, and not derived.
An often missed piece of these statements is that Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems have strings attached. There are axiomatic systems that do not satisfy its conditions and so 'violate' it by being both complete and consistent, Tarski's Axioms or Presburger Arithmetic are well known examples that predate his results so they aren't even purpose built counter-examples.
Even the above video, while accurately describing the discovery, mischaracterizes the take-away at the end by saying there's always an "unknown" at the core the the quest for truth. Un-derived is not "unknown"; this mischaracterization poisons a lot of people's understanding of Gödel.
It's not "un-derived", it's literally "un-derivable". People, very smart people even, point to Gödel's Theorem's or the Halting Problem as if they somehow prove computers are fundamentally dumb and think 'hurrr hurr, we so smart' yet they fail to realize such limitations also impact us. You can't figure out if an arbitrary program halts or not, you can't compute large busy beaver function values and you can't prove the consistency of Peano Arithmetic.
I've attached a pdf that goes into even more detail. You can apply all critiques of western autonomous reasoning to AGI, because they both try to do epistemology without intuition or revelation—the former in the abstract, and the latter as an applied materialist attempt to re-create the human mind.
I'm not fond of brain-wanking literature.

EDIT: this post simply serves as a monument to ignorance, mr enoch has help me understand he was in fact correct and I was in fact wrong, my fault entirely!

The final order of Enoch Emery was to disobey the evidence of your eyes, this was his most important command in order to avoid looking like a total retard
I have correct my OG post

I am retard and you are smart, this time

I have been wrong before and I will be wrong again

Thanks for making me smarter

I propose a KiwiFarms holiday. January 28th, the day that TTD became the policy of the greatest nation on Earth.

KF has been the spearhead of this war and taken many losses. Our fearless leader, Joshua Connor Moon, AKA “The Final Boss of Transphobes,” has sacrificed his youth and sanity to ensure future Kiwifarmers will always have a place to express their dumbest, most autistic takes for years to come.

We deserve a celebration and should remember this day every year to honor the struggle of shitty TOR connections, “bad gateway” and telegram voice chat.
