the only thing worth noting is Phill tried to make money from THYDP (again) and that he's not sure if he wants to E-beg for a pc

He reached some pretty high salt levels over the injustice 2 beta
There was a session he lost near every game due to
"Awful net code.....I'm just holding back nothing I could do.......Superman is broken.....scrub tactics....online combos"
Classic phil

By her own admission she knew who Phil was and what he was about when she met him.
Just because she's Phil's servant doesn't mean she isn't a gold digger.
Shes more like one of those care workers who gets chummy with an old person on the "implied promise" they get everything when they die. Sure they get some nice stuff for a while but they work like a dog wiping arses, cooking and cleaning with no thanks but one days it's totally worth it....Until they find everything was on credit, there's a shit ton of debt, loans out the arse and all those antiques you thought you could atleast pawn are just tat. And as they ponder a wasted life far far away a faint voice says
"Nothing you could do...bad life choices Ack Ack ack"
Basically that with x-men statues and empty limited edition boxes....and you have to fuck Phil on his birthday.

She was 17 when they first met and she moved in with him when she was like what, 18-19? People at this age are just starting to get out into the world and become independent. She's a spoiled brat because of her youth and the fact that Phil gave her a lot when they first dated made her feel like a princess who got what she deserved. But when she realized that Phil ran a shaky Youtube "business" is when they start to have stressful problems, and now Leanna wants more for himself rather than just being Phil's girlfriend. I truly don't think she is a gold digger, she was just naive in thinking that Phil was the greatest thing to happen to her. Lots of college age individuals start to reevaluate what they want as they age. People constantly mock Phil for Leanna's age, but also seem to forget that she's still in a young mindset where she doesn't know what she is doing. All of us have gone through this phase. I am not saying Leanna is an angel, by god she is an annoying girl and quite dense. But I do understand why someone of her personality would go out with someone like Phil. She seems very emotionally vulnerable and wants someone to notice her. You can clearly see her frustrations too whenever she plays a game with Phil, like "why is this idiot running through a door full of bad guys with tommy guns? Why does he ever not listen to me?"

Firstly I'm not saying Leanna is a bad person....just naive.
Secondly it's not a phase we all go through. We don't all run off with the first guy who promises us nice things...atleast I hope we don't. A lot of people put a career and education before settling.
It's easy for people to project onto her and get all "damsel in distress" about her life but she can't blame Phil for her decision to move half way across the country and leave friends and family to lead a life of isolation with king gout. People are quick to state "but she loves Phil so she stays" but dismiss the idea Phil puts up with her because he loves her because the idea that "he sees her as a trophy and servant" fits better to our view of Phil.
I totally accept she's frustrated in life with Phil, I respect her actually getting a job and for what it's worth I would rather watch her do a let's play than Phil because she actually tries to talk about the game and it lore rather than tell awful jokes.
But unless you personally know Leanna then you cannot guess her motives for staying with Phil and people have stayed together for worse reasons than two homes and free ride through life.
She's likely reaching a point when she wants more out of life. Marriage, kids, couples dinners but knows she can never get that with hardcore gamer Phil.

"We're in serious financial trouble, and Panda can't get a full time job because that would mess up the schedule of her cooking dinner for me while I pay the bills with my real adult business playing video games" is the most difficult thing I've ever had to parse. It's so mired in internal inconsistencies and lack of a coherent thought process that I'd actually struggle finding a starting point to disassembling it and finding the root of why it's so stupid. If DSP were a performance artist, I would honestly be IMPRESSED at the elegance on display, because I honestly couldn't imagine constructing a narrative that crammed so much convoluted un-logic into such a brief moment of time. If I read that in a novel, I'd applaud the author for the sheer absurdity of it. It's up there with "Flying is simple, just throw yourself at the ground and miss".

But it's not art. It's their actual life.

Phil is a cockroach, but I think leanna leaving (or cucking him) will signal the start of the real final end boss in his struggles. I'd wager his donations will go down as some of his fans no longer see him as some kind of alpha retard with an asian girlfriend, and that'll mark the beginning of the real ending cutscene.

I do think she was trying to mooch off of him because of his Youtube infamy. And now that he is struggling I feel she is now thinking "Oh. Welp. I made a stupid decision.". Just like Phil, she probably figured they'd be set for life with him playing video games. She clearly wants more and can't do it because Phil doesn't have teh monies. His sex deprived personality in some playthroughs tell me they aren't close. Comparing his GTA 3 playthrough I think it was. And his Vice City one he would mention her quite often. I guess things have dwindled since.

Understand, she was a kid. Therefore Phil thinking dating a teenager and making these grown ass decisions was pretty asinine on his part. Shes too young to be doing what she did, truly. Her family is on the outs with her mostly because of her dating a man over 30 years old. At her age she should be in school and having fun with friends. Not being Phils nursemaid and cook. Fortunately, she can walk away from it all with no problems money-wise. Phil, however..

Million dollar question: why is she still with Phil?

Good question, I assume she does care for him in some way. Romantic love to me is uncertain seems more familial.. They really do have a more Dad and Daughter relationship. I know her parents divorced so who knows maybe she does see him more like a Dad figure? A irresponsible one at that.

I have noticed that women that are involved with older men tend to have daddy issues.

All I'm saying is that it's pretty hypocritical for the detractors to say "Leanna's a definite gold digger" and then use the whole "well you don't know her so" defense whenever someone says she might not be. Because I don't think anybody in this thread knows DSP or PandaLee on a personal level. You're right, it's tough to point out what is going through her head but Leanna is still young and impressionable, and it gives a narcissist like DSP an opportunity to enable her and fuck her up even more. That's more or less of what I'm going on judging from their tweets and their co-op videos.

Because its easier than not. Once it becomes easier to not be with him, she'll jump ship. Simple as that.

Once she becomes aware of the fact that she's the breadwinner and doesn't want to pay his mortgage, clean his house, and cook his meals on top of a fulltime retail gig, she'll shack up with a coworker or friend, and that'll be that.

But I foresee her putting up with a lot more of Phil's bullshit before reaching that point. When she abandons the soap business once and for all, I think that'll be the point.

People have put up with worse to have a free roof over their heads.
From what we've seen, there's very little love (if any) in their relationship, so my guess is convenience and codependency.

The thing is that she could find another host. She's average-looking but she could do better than Phil.

I agreed with your post up till it became about projection and you said "we all do that" in terms of following heart not head. It's a valid point that certainly some people do it but not that all people do and at the age of 17 were generally better prepared to make decisions about what we want out of life that we are in our early teens.
At 17 most girls don't settle down with the first guy who's nice to them and become his live in wife/daughter or atleast I would hope most go onto higher education or get jobs.
More people statistical don't settle till later in life, stay at their parents home longer and are going into further education and reenter several time. That's not something you can disagree with.
You based part of your argument on the idea that since she was spoilt as a child then she had a precondition to the idea of someone like Phil coming around and spoiling later in life and perceiving that as real adult love. Valid point but it leans the case more towards gold digger by proxy than nature. In fact if you blame her parents for her nature then you can't say Phil was taking advantage of someone young but still an adult and emotional vulnerable (in your opinion).
Again I don't even think she's a bad person if she's a gold digger, atleast she's getting something out of this and it's makes her motives for fucking with Phil's fan bass more entertaining.

But on the topic of Phil
Please please let his business struggle along till may / June for the releases of injustice 2 and tekken 7.
Watching the "pro fighting game player" make excuses for having his ass handed to him is more enjoyable to me than his regular playthroughs.
And there's another season of street fighter to look forward to aka "broken useless DLC characters ack ack ack I'm glad I didn't pay real money for ack ack ack i wasnt playING for real just trting learn....by playing ranked"

Personally I think the condo situation is probably the biggest story from while the Farms were down. The fact he's been paying a grand and a half every month for something that has no benefit for him and is being forced to sell it for a fraction of the price he bought it for, shows partially why his debt situation is so intense.

That and having to get a much more affordable car when the BMW lease runs out shows in very real terms just how genuine Phil's financial issues are and I think that's pretty noteworthy since some of us weren't even sure how genuine they are.

I would have loved to be in the room for his small business loan application
"I need $10000 for hard core gamer season. I need to buy season passes, loot boxes and every $100 dollar limited edition box DOOOOOOOD also I need this one wolverine toy
I need to buy pizzas and butter burgers. Its 2017 all business need VR headsets. This is all an investment for the future".

But he some how pulled it off TWICE
