That does not mean they do not care, and they would not lash out at their ex even if antagonized. If their ex attacked them they would even refuse to defend themselves.

It was all out of the kindness of your heart you just selflessly gave away thousands of dollars to some women you broke up with a while ago, without expecting anything in return.
