Another part of conservative idiocy in action that is pretty common not just with Razorfist since I've seen even some people on certain parts of the site say this type of shit. It clearly is a way to deny past cringeworthy actions even though the religious right were a prominent annoying force, they had lots of power in the 1980s especially due to the Reagan-Bush years.

It was getting to the point where I've seen good, practicing Christians get annoyed with the Religious Right on such things. Especially when it comes to these Religious Right types practicing their faith, all they seem to know how to do is to tell others how to live, but when the time comes when they have to help others themselves, they grow silent. They oppose charity in many of its forms while worshiping capitalism like a golden calf. Many devout Christians I knew back in those days had no problems with comics and movies that had risqué material in them, hell, one of them even showed me Alan Moore's Watchmen when I was younger. Yet these modern Religious Right types go nuts over some Korean game with T&A. If they were consistent with their morals, they'd have President Trump order the arrest of every woman wearing a bikini on the beach for indecent exposure come summer 2025.

Again, the fact that Razorfist wants to memory-hole the 1980s Satanic Panic where they accused DnD players of being Satan incarnate goes to show that he's willing to stab his own fans in the back to gain clout, especially since the DnD-RPG fanbase that he tried to appeal to with all his wringing about how RPGs should remain DnD simulators, that fanbase was the hardest hit by the Satanic Panic, and some of those fans lived through that and could recall that persecution with precise details from their own memories of that era.

Yes, if the Left let go of their pearl-clutching sensibilities while returning to their original, "free speech" platform, that would lead to massive defections to the Left, and whatever advantage Trump and his cohorts gained would melt come the next election.
