I'll be honest: I am NOT a fan of Lord of The Rings... I read the damn books 3 times, forcing myself to find something to like in it, but I couldn't (though I respect its historic importance). Same thing with the movies.

That being said, even I am APPALLED by the fact a so called fantasy and sci-fi "published author" with a 141 IQ spells Gollum like this:

I picked up The Rising due to Brian being a fellow Patposter, it was a decent read. Might pick up some of his other stuff in the future.
