Ronald Wyden was born in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Edith (née Rosenow) and Peter H. Wyden (originally Weidenreich, 1923–1998),[3] both of whom were Jewish and had fled Nazi Germany.[4]

Holy heck, another BOOMER JEW, what a huge surprise!!! Gosh, diddly, darn gee.
How much of a hand did he have subverting WASP culture?
I never used to think this way, till a few years ago.
It's all so tiresome.

"While teaching gerontology at several Oregon universities, Wyden founded the Oregon chapter of the Gray Panthers, which he led from 1974 to 1980. He was also the director of the Oregon Legal Services Center for Elderly, a nonprofit law service. From 1977 to 1979 he served on the Oregon State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators"

OR has one of the worst pension bombs in the US

the imbalance between entitled retired boomers (whose salary was frequently massively increased in the leadup to retirement) and young people with absolutely zero future in OR would be causing violent revolution if white people had any selfrespect

guess this guy helped do that

It's a big filter. The board realized they can't get rid of the discord groups, JIDF or anything else, so they just ramp it up with inflammatory OPs. People with a three-digit IQ can navigate around that to find actual discussion; this is important because you have to do that in real life, too. Just look at all the hysterical morons RFK Jr. is having to navigate right now to get his job.
The question isn't if you can, it's if it's worth the effort and filters to find something noteworthy, only for it to get derailed within half an hour.

oh my fucking god. this is the most infuriating one so far. she asked a question, kennedy was about to agree with her, and she gets more angry and interrupts him. you dumb fucking bitch, can you let him answer the questions? jesus christ. did they pick their LEAST likeable people for this?

RFK really laid into her. i am far more in support of him now than i was before.
The more unhinged they get, the less politically palatable it becomes to be a Republican holdout. At some point, your voters are going to forget your “reasoning” and lump you in with the corporo-communist harridans

I don't even agree with RFK on some of his policies, and this is just making me pissed off. Let the man answer the fucking question without being talked over.

"anyone can sit here and be rubber a stamp, why won't you fight cheeto hitler on these issues we don't like?"
'Mr. Kennedy, why won't you confirm everything Trump has said about the federal bureaucracy, which is definitely not true by the way?'

Every Dem has asked him exactly that in one way or another. The Deep State flouting the will of the elected president is a conspiracy theory, also your proper role as a Cabinet secretary would be to help the Deep State flout the will of the elected president, don't you agree?

that screaming statement about how trump's freeze halted research to cure pediatric cancer was the most theatrical think of the children bullshit ever. that actually made me mad. she is trying to imply that scientists were on the cusp of curing childhood cancer, and trump himself stepped in and ripped the petri dishes out of their hands. what a dishonest piece of shit. how can you ever, EVER like these people? how can you believe they truly care?

Biden aims to reduce cancer deaths by 50% over next 25 years

And how did that go I wonder?
Cancer continues to be the second most common cause of death in the US, after heart disease. In the US in 2023, a total of 1.9 million new cancer cases (about 5,370 cases each day) and 609,820 deaths from cancer are expected to occur (about 1,670 deaths a day).
In 2024, 2,001,140 new cancer cases and 611,720 cancer deaths are projected to occur in the United States.
That's right folks. Cancer cases/deaths actually INCREASED during Biden's presidency.

/pol/ was the first place I heard about Covid, long before it was public hysteria, and it was also the first place I started reading contrary evidence to vaccines being safe. The price of entry for early information on what's going on in the world is being able to navigate trolling, retardation and LARPing.

Have the senators brought up his radical abortionist past yet?

He’s definitely a kook but if I had to pick one to get rejected I’d prefer Tulsi not have any power in the federal government.
