Then subsequently when you pushed further they produced that last email from the FBI directing them to report it as not subject to disclosure? Is that inaccurate?

You mixed up two events.

On the 27th, MPD (with the city) alongside Patrick and Niki filed a letter with the judge containing executive summary of how the case has progressed. Within that summary there was a section for disputed and undisputed facts. Among them was an undisputed fact that Niki filed a report to the "Police and Fire Commission" (though, the actual agency is called Fire and Police Commission) regarding one of the swats. I contacted the Fire and Police commission, and they told me no such record exists. I have since filed a second inquiry because the executive summary said "After a swatting on July 25, 2022, Plaintiff Robinson filed a complaint" and while I initially interpreted that to mean that she filed it right after the swat ended, in my followup inquiry I've included a date range between that and the second swat. I have yet to hear back from them.

I picked up The Rising due to Brian being a fellow Patposter, it was a decent read. Might pick up some of his other stuff in the future.

I have to give it to Pat, his own literary career might be in shambles but he is great at getting people to buy others books.

I didn't realise I had actually already read one of his books. Dead Sea, (I cannot be arsed to check, its the one with the boat going into a different realm/dimension). Its OK, but long and felt it dragged a bit, but it was OK. Its the kinda book you read, maybe skip a few pages in sections that drag on, then get off your long haul flight, and leave it in the lobby for someone else to have a go.

I did grab a book of Pats, still not read it yet, I may have to work up the courage for such a task. It would have been better if I got one of his before I knew of him, because now I am just going to be reading it in his voice, and waiting for any mention of stalkers, prison, and enjoying.
