Seed oils at the levels we currently consume them have been linked to chronic inflammation because they fuck with your immune system. Seed oils are unavoidable, they're in fucking everything these days even when it's not necessary. They also tend to be oxidized and rancid by the time you eat them because they're not shelf stable, which is why they cause inflammation. But yes, freaking out about tomatoes is retarded.
