Probably not going to be any voice roles for Wes Johnson in Elder Scrolls 6
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/the-e...-and-his-family-is-asking-for-help-from-fans/
Call me a bloomer but I was hoping 2025 would at least be a little better than last year, starting off with (among other things) the most likely death of one of the most beloved VA's in Elder Scrolls history, if not gaming history, is just...man. Also says a lot that GoFundMe is such a common way to pay for health care in this country.

Given the prevalence of Dagoth Ur and TES:V Dunmer AI-voice/TTS videos on youtube, I'm a little surprised (but also grateful) there aren't a slew of Sheogorath, etc. ones.
Thank fucking God, Reddit has ruined Sheogorath and surprisingly Reddit Dagoth is not nearly as bad. Probably because he's a giga chad xenophobe, there's some really good AI voice videos too that really get into the insults.

All this tells me is that the Wes Johnson voice AI is complete and Todd called in the Bethesda sanctuary of the DB to do the deed.

Some DRAMA has supposedly ROCKED Morrowind Modding as a Xitter alog called Tamriel Rebuilt Community Watchdog has tipped off ICE about a modder who was a contributor to modding project Tamriel Rebuilt of being an illegal alien?! He reacted to the raid live on his Discord about loud banging on his door and guns pointed through his windows and begged for "nigga someone call a lawyer!" this was all because this Zap guy was being a malicious modder in the Fallout New Vegas scene where he had malware in mods he authored while also being unmasked as the huge drama-queen behind the Fallout: New Mexico mod where he would routinely take credit for others assets and chronically procrastinated on any actual updates. Fallout : Nuevo Mexico mod cancelled to prioritise developer's mental health and "face reality" - apparently José Maximiliano Eduardo de la Cruz Fernández is an illegal living in Tucson, Texas.

This guy seems like a serious jilted ALOG lol. He's been lurking their discord since August and seems dedicated to hunting down any lurking trannies in his beloved mod project (BASED), alleging that "Taniquetil" a 'non-binary' modder on the project works for the state of Colorado who seems to have left the mod team.... I'm being dramatic since this guy has less than 10 likes per tweet and just seems like a random alog who lurks these mod discords but if he really call ICE on a modder he doesn't like? LMAO He claims to have also routed out another tranny from the mod project by the name of Astrid. The discord has been deliberating...

Obviously it’s unfortunate that modding projects like this have troons in them, but at the same time I think it’d be bad to exclude someone who’s been a valuable contributor. I haven’t ever seen troon shit in TR or PT, so it’s not like they’ve been visibly enforcing their ideology within the content all that much. Taniquetil is probably one of the biggest and most important contributors to TR and PT and so I’d really rather not have him excluded. There’d be a significant loss to the project(s) were that the case.

I just don't get Tamriel Rebuilt, they spend over two decades making large landmasses with cities and numerous NPCs, but no quests telling a overarching storyline. It's all just what would be considered side quests in the Bethesda games.
It's because they hadn't finished enough content to justify an overarching storyline. It's only within recent years that they've completed enough to make them able to do that sort of thing. And Morrowind's different anyway, each settlement's faction usually has their own self-contained series of 3-4 quests. Full-on faction questlines like in Oblivion or Skyrim are gay and don't suit the setting. The "overarching storyline" is what's told by the individual settlement questlines, e.g. Balmora Guild shows one side of the faction, Aldruhn shows another, etc.

Each faction questline has a different focus like Almas Thirr's Mages Guild is all about collecting souls from high level boss enemies where you could gift the Guildmaster the soul of Almalexia or Vivec for an enchanted cuirass that practically gives you infinite magicka.

What the fuck is going on in the TES Modding community?

What a mess.
Hilarious that ICE is deporting someone related to it. As a side note, they're not deporting non violent offenders as primary targets right now either. They're going after nasty offenders first to get the public in favor of it.
Anyone picked up during a raid of them though has to go too.
So I wonder if this dude was hanging with nastier people or nasty himself.

At the apex of my yung scrolls and truestl consumption, I finally caved and played morrowind. Great fun, not sure why I stopped, but I realized 80% of memes outside dagoth are in the first fucking 3 hours. The memes could've manifested in just about any context, few actually touching on Ur's character other than the deadpan voice and weird choice of words.

Emperor, King and Justice, citizen.

I agree, I started Morrowind a couple days ago and it's nowhere as mind numbingly hard or complex as all the memes and jokes make it out to be.

Dying to a scrib? You have to be exaggerating or just suck.

Cliffracers being the worst thing in the world? They're not that populous and definitely don't come in swarms, and are fairly easily dispatched.

The combat sucking? It can be somewhat frustrating when your hits, spells, lockpicks, and so on don't land, but you can always increase the odds with a good build and planning, not spamming attacks and charging your swings, and save scumming is definitely a lifesaver in a pinch.

I've been enjoying it a lot so far — I made a beeline to get the boots of blinding speed as early as I could to make up for my dunmer's slow pace, it's fun running at the oblivion default speed, it's a very beautiful game too once you use OpenMW or install MGXE to remove the fog.

If you played Morrowind as a kid it seemed hard because even in the 2000s kids were impatient and didn't want to read. Although I actually do think that the game balance is pretty challenging if you don't abuse exploits or rush for all the best gear. I think you're wrong about cliffracers. If you're running through the map or levitating over mountains you can attract crowds of them, and they love to aggro you from 200 feet away while you're already in the middle of a fight or about to rest.

So there's like a miniscule chance that this mod is actually real and releasing this year, but it would be cool if it was

Morrowind had a rather decent main quest that took you all over Vardenfell.
I think there should be a main quest with some actual stakes rather than every city and guild having like 4 quests that stay just regional, and then there's the 400 misc quests that are just fetch and kill quests with no plot.
