The plaintiff asked for a trial by jury instead of judge so that's interesting.
Treble damages under RICO could potentially be a huge number.
This makes it so that you receive triple the actual damages.
So if that goes through than Chuck is absolutely fucked.

Funny you should mention that bc Thiel is actually mentioned in the Chuck Johnson lawsuit I was reading through.
It seems like he approached Thiel like everyone else and then when he was rebuffed Chuck started calling Thiel a federal informant or w/e.
This was around the time Nick was doing it as well and calling Vance a Thiel operative or whatever.
