Honestly, a 30-60 minute show(not a full length movie, not a 8 episode series with 40 minute episodes or whatever) of a cross between Warhammer and Toy Story would be great. Some kids space marines fighting his brothers orks while they're asleep, can include a derpy thin your paints marine, let the orks think the two players looking down at shit are Gork and Mork, lean fully into the hobby aspect, tabletop specific memes, etc. But that'll never happen.

That actually sounds right up my alley. It's still astounding how creatively bankrupt media still is. They have the means, they have the money, and they choose not to.

My Iron Warriors need a dreadnought killer on a budget. Which option is best?

• Dreadnought of my own (most obvious)
• Use my Krieger tank as a traitor guard proxy (cheapest, since I already have it)
• 30k Cataphracti Terminators (which have anti-vehicle melee keywords)
• Daemon engine

Or better yet, what's the best way for standard infantry to take out a dreadnought without it being a pyrrhic victory?

I believe a Vindicator works well, but the range is...I'm not sure but I believe it's shorter. I think Forgefiends and Maulerfiend work well too if a Daemon Engine is in your budget. Thought ultimately a Dreadnought is probably the best, what weapons work best against other Dreadnoughts? Lascannons? Can you work Lascannons into your infantry? As you can see I uh, rarely play tabletop. Blame my FLGS or rather lack-there-of.

I have some plasma incinerators and a chaincannon, but those can only do so much before they get mopped by the other guy's dreadnought. The tank also has multi-meltas and a gatling cannon.

Plasma and Multi-meltas I believe work well too, if you have anything at long range and maybe mobile within that category it'll probably work the best.

Ive been looking into Chaos demons a little and I just noticed like 80% of the range on the website is out of stock. Same for the chaos cult factions. I checked a few other factions and theyre nowhere near this bad. Id never actually buy anything on GW's website ofc, and maybe Im just coping, but a range refresh/new models for demons with the new god-aligned CSM stuff thats coming out in the next few months would be absolutely sick. At least a new value box or something, considering my wallet is about to get completely fucked by the EC release on top of whats coming out after.

GW dont follow logic a lot of the time. There is an equal chance they dont touch CSM outside of EC.

Part of the stupid fun of SM2 with friends was having every other word out of everyone’s mouth is “Brother”. Honestly it’s great. As much as I love the Guard it gets too pozed with strong female character who’s so badass.

And I think 40k with Astartes is one of the few all male media things that even talks about brotherhood as a concept so it’s a bit more enjoyable. Which is why some people are pushing so hard to destroy it.

not trying to encourage you to paypig or anything but I imagine the deldar included in the combat patrol are pretty safe. The Kabalites only got an upgrade sprue when they were rereleased as the Hands of the Archon kill team and I'm pretty sure that's the oldest model set in the box. If its stuff you want, I dont think its a bad idea to nab them before replaces it with something like 20 wyches, 10 hellions, and a succubus

So they're moving from a media platform where they can get sometimes 1-2k likes, a couple hundred re-tweets, and dozens of comments to a platform where they can't seem to hit 500 likes, a few dozen re-posts or whatever the fuck they're called on that site, and not even a dozen comments. It’s such a poorly thought out world building imo and when they try to bring up Aztecs they freak out over leftist ideas about appropriation and ban people. BlueSky will be a relief from they having to answer difficult questions like what happened with the later Baltic Crusades while Hell opened up in Jerusalem.

A couple of the lads I work with who have absolutely NO idea about anything warhammer related bought and played through SM2 after I recommended it, and they're still referring to each other as "brother". That’s the heart of 40k I feel like which is how it spreads. I remember just being exposed to its fun absurd memes before I knew fully about it in the early days of my (honestly should’ve been more restricted) internet exposure as a kid. It’s absurd but most importantly it’s fun with friends. Every friend group can find something fun and relatable among peers to enjoy like the latest dumb Hollywood movie.

Again I have no significant knowledge of Trench Crusade so from an outside perspective it looks as """pro-Christian""" as Doom is, as in "kill demons, behead demons, roundhouse kick a demon, etc." but more grimdark. If what you're saying is true, absolutely fucking unsurprising and I'm glad I never looked into it. Art is kick ass though.

If you're trying to expand your player base, migrating to a much smaller platform populated exclusively by psychotic retards is one of the stupidest moves you could possibly make.

I doubt Tranch Crusade lasts to the end of this year.
