I have some plasma incinerators and a chaincannon, but those can only do so much before they get mopped by the other guy's dreadnought. The tank also has multi-meltas and a gatling cannon.

Plasma and Multi-meltas I believe work well too, if you have anything at long range and maybe mobile within that category it'll probably work the best.

I fear buying 2x drukhari combat patrol because in 12 months they are likely to upscale or change...something...making it a waste. Or not and I miss out on one of the better boxes.
GW dont follow logic a lot of the time. There is an equal chance they dont touch CSM outside of EC.

Part of the stupid fun of SM2 with friends was having every other word out of everyone’s mouth is “Brother”. Honestly it’s great. As much as I love the Guard it gets too pozed with strong female character who’s so badass.
And I think 40k with Astartes is one of the few all male media things that even talks about brotherhood as a concept so it’s a bit more enjoyable. Which is why some people are pushing so hard to destroy it.

not trying to encourage you to paypig or anything but I imagine the deldar included in the combat patrol are pretty safe. The Kabalites only got an upgrade sprue when they were rereleased as the Hands of the Archon kill team and I'm pretty sure that's the oldest model set in the box. If its stuff you want, I dont think its a bad idea to nab them before replaces it with something like 20 wyches, 10 hellions, and a succubus

Since Tranch Crusade gets brought up here I figure I might as well inform you they’re fleeing Twitter for BlueSky. Not a good look but after they went viral on Twitter and all the wrong people found out about it it makes sense they’d flee for a forum of trannies, pedos, and the most unhinged leftists ever.
So they're moving from a media platform where they can get sometimes 1-2k likes, a couple hundred re-tweets, and dozens of comments to a platform where they can't seem to hit 500 likes, a few dozen re-posts or whatever the fuck they're called on that site, and not even a dozen comments. Yes of course that makes sense. And then we'll get to laugh when they realize how small their remaining audience is over the course of the next year as the money dries up and they end up having to do yet another kickstarter.

e: if we must have the space muhreens, then go balls all out: get the Excoriators, the Charcarodons, the Blood Gorgons, the Minotaurs, the Black Dragons. Have them show up to tear xenos up a gigantic asshole. Just no more bland, safe for mass appeal space marines that blather about duty.

A couple of the lads I work with who have absolutely NO idea about anything warhammer related bought and played through SM2 after I recommended it, and they're still referring to each other as "brother". They still don't know much about the hobby, but its funny being at the pub and hearing them ask "do you want a drink brother?".

It’s such a poorly thought out world building imo and when they try to bring up Aztecs they freak out over leftist ideas about appropriation and ban people. BlueSky will be a relief from they having to answer difficult questions like what happened with the later Baltic Crusades while Hell opened up in Jerusalem.
That’s the heart of 40k I feel like which is how it spreads. I remember just being exposed to its fun absurd memes before I knew fully about it in the early days of my (honestly should’ve been more restricted) internet exposure as a kid. It’s absurd but most importantly it’s fun with friends. Every friend group can find something fun and relatable among peers to enjoy like the latest dumb Hollywood movie.

Again I have no significant knowledge of Trench Crusade so from an outside perspective it looks as """pro-Christian""" as Doom is, as in "kill demons, behead demons, roundhouse kick a demon, etc." but more grimdark. If what you're saying is true, absolutely fucking unsurprising and I'm glad I never looked into it. Art is kick ass though.

I think what would have helped sell the "Church is just as bad" is maybe havin them clash with the Ottomans or whatever other human factions in TC, refusing to work with them and even hapilly kill 'em because they dont suck Jesus cock and say how their religion sucks. Hell, why not pull stuff how the church actually makes deals with demons behind closed curtains, maybe to eliminate other factions or make sure that people still flock to the church. Theres way to go around with this, than just "The Christian church is just bad, mkay"
