Plagued Lolicon/Shotacon Defense Force - The people who jerk off to cartoon children and won't ever shut up about it

Honestly I really like many of the costumes from CCS, all the ribbons and frills and poofiness of it were cute and showcased the innocence of youth, and I could tell someone liked the jester-style that was prominent in a few of them lol. I wasn't a girly-girl as a kid, and yet I really liked the costumes. Think it helped that even Sakura was embarrassed to wear a lot of them, but she clearly wanted to support her friend in her efforts and thus put up with it. That kind of mindset is why I allowed my cousin and friends to practice their makeup skills on me even though I never liked makeup lol.

Interestingly enough, I would've liked to have worn Meiling's battle costume more than any of Sakura's.

It does remind me that some years back, CLAMP did design a bridal gown that got showcased:

Turned out to be a disappointment, not even I would want to wear it. However, I don't know which version of Sakura they used there, I'm assuming the Clear Card version where she's 13 (FWIW in Japan, it's common in shows for girls to fantasize of being a bride, so it's not seen as a big deal).

Little bit late and gay but I am a bit concerned that making porn fully illegal would have unintended negative effects. Lolisho should 100% be moved under CSEM, as well as AI generated content of minors. But I fear that making porn itself illegal will push porn addicts further down the rabbit hole, making it harder for them to turn their lives around and get back to normal. Id have to look it up again but I think porn is even worse then gambling when it comes to fucking up your brain chemistry.

It would also be near impossible to enforce but that's expected from a US politician since their average age is well above retirement age.

If they want to go further down the hole instead of disciplining themselves, then I see no issue with this. Let them suffer and use them as an example for the future on how not to ruin your life.

Considering how prohibition went I do not think the people you want to suffer will suffer. They'll probably make money off of it honestly.

Today if you downloaded every porn image of loli fairy nigger #4 from touho you would just be a freak. But if they ban porn you're now a freak who can charge other freaks to look at your goon stash.

I'm sure the feds would bag some of em and throw the book at them, but most of them would get away with it.

It's better to just count loli as CSEM so you can extend peoples current sentences when they get caught for other offences. Which I'm pretty sure is the current law in the US. So what we probably need is more funding for cyber crime divisions and NECMEC.

This isn't the argue about porn thread. There is mass debates for that. The bill is not passing the senate period because you need 60 votes to pass a non spending related law. Not happening. So the closet gooners can rejoice. Now please, talk about lolishit instead.

Nothing ever happens…

Well, we’ll see on February 3 if it passes. I'm not American, so I don’t really know much about American law, but I will pray for it. If it does pass, I think America will be on the right path to healing.
I'm not keeping up, what may pass, a loli ban?

Sometimes I wonder if it's because Misty in Pokémon, who's the same age, showed her belly and wore shorts.
It's technically revealing but most people didn't seem to think of it as sexualization, probably because the show didn't really depict her that way, no questionable camera angles, behavior, etc.

The closest it got with Misty was the outdoor bath joke on Cinnabar Island. With CCS I can't think of any questionable camera angles or behaviors when it came to Sakura and her costumes. The closest it's gotten is that I've heard that apparently there's a basic unclothed figure of Sakura for her stock footage wand transformations and card summonings for them to overlay her clothes on. I can't confirm nor deny that.

To be fair that sounds like a animation thing and not a sexulization thing. Not much different than a barbie doll you put clothes on. Though that's just what it sounds like to me.

Pretty much, but someone not in the know will read that and go "Why are they drawing a nude child hmmmm?" It wouldn't help matters if a cel shows up showing that, and as far as I know no such cel had made it out of the studio, which is why I don't know how true it is even though it makes sense from an animation stand-point.

Similar thing could be asked about the Birth of Mewtwo CD drama where in the booklet, there's artwork that shows the clone Aitwo is nude in her cultivation tank, which isn't sexual at all because you obviously can't clone clothes, and it's practically implied she developed embryonically as well. But that's why when it got animated, she has clothes on in the dream world, and every time you see her tank, it's just a light that signifies her "conscious". That was a conscious choice.

Now is it likely that had Pokémon been created a decade earlier that they could've had an actual body in that tank with strategically-placed light highlights? I wouldn't put it past them since they have different views on nudity in Japan and there's nothing sexual about cloning (please God don't let it be a fetish), and yet would've ensured this prologue would remain cut in English just because localizers would rather be safe than sorry.

Aitwo is kind of a sacred cow on the Mewtwo side of the fandom on top of being a canonically dead character, so I don't think lolicons have actually dared to defile her as-is despite this. Hell, I think for a very long time Sakura herself wasn't actually sexualized by the lolicon scene back then because of purity culture (which is more of a "look, but don't touch" mindset). Seems like it's the more depraved lolicons that have become more ballsy and yet still go for the more popular/modern (last decade) shows.

I mean again, I don't know if it's true or not, it just makes sense from a animation perspective. Draw a low detail image, overlay her with clothes or whatever, and bam, you have your weekly episode on a budget. From a technical perspective it makes sense.

I mean that just seems like Sci fi. And it's Pokemon. Yes they have the pokefucker leaks. I've never really seen it translate to the shows

I've seen some lolisho defenders. Now, it's not just "it was a 3000 year old with the mind of an adult and therefore can consent" or "it's just a short, baby face, petite woman." In artist circles, it's now more of "muh childhood trauma." And it's inconsistent. I've seen this particular nigga say "Oh it was meh experience with raep so muh lolisho is vent for le mental health." Nahhhh. It ended up being plain fetish material.

The person I'm talking about in particular is this one. She has been on Twitter for some time until the oh no le nazi stuff and she has been HATED by the One Piece fandom.

I heard a rumour that that character design was made as "eye candy" for older male fans, so I am suspicious. Lolicons have always hyperfixated on little girls from kids' anime (including the girl from Dinosaur Planet, a show that's actually for babies), so it's not unprecedented. I'm also glad we can all condemn Cardcaptor Sakura as pedophilic; I think that mahou shoujo is long overdue for a reckoning and reform. It seems newer seasons of Precure are a step in the right direction, but it really needs to laser-focus itself on little girls and totally exclude otaku for any meaningful change.

Hm, I don't remember the outdoor bath in Pokemon. Do you know the episode number? As for CCS, I only watched it once as a kid when it first aired and liked it well enough but don't really remember much about it. That unclothed thing sounds like it's only part of the animation process.

I remember hearing something like that too. More specifically that they designed all the girls to be attractive to the largely boy demographic. I don't have a problem with attractive character design in principle, it's sexualization that's the problem. Being against attractive characters is how we got Concord and the last decade of tranny looking "female" characters in media.
