Doug Bergum was confirmed as Secretary of the Interior by a vote of 79-18.

And Susan Colins says she was happy with how RFK answered her questions, so she looks like a yes, which means Murkowski will probably have to vote yes to avoid a bigger target on her.

One thing I noticed about Tulsi's hearing was they tried to have Mark Kelly be a "you disagree with what the government intelligence says, what are you, some commie asset?" as though it's 2004 and it made me wonder if anyone is even thinking correctly in terms of 2028. Seeing so many normie people realize RFK is actually being stonewalled by democrats, who are the ones funded by big pharma, when they always thought it was those icky republicans, you're going to need to have some senators vote for these two former liberals in order to pretend you have a chance at moderates in '28 by saying you voted across party lines. Yet it looks like not even the faux moderates like Kelly and Grog will be allowed to vote for RFK and Tulsi. Which, enjoy your defeat then, but what utter fags.

I still contend that, if the Nips hadn't been publicly rounded up by the government, then they would have been privately rounded up by mobs of angry citizens after news of pitched battles and death marches in the Pacific. 1940s was still lynch mob times, so internment certainly saved a number of lives.
The concept of "Diaspora" just shits on the pure meme of integration anyway lol

I'm on the younger side but as far as I can tell McCarthy had all of the right anti communist zeal and distrust of Hollywood but he ended his own career by claiming to have evidence he didn't have, didn't he? I'd like to hear some kiwis' thoughts
Hollywood is owned by Jews. Even if he had it, the Jews would've done a psyop.

Oh, of course you’re right, they didn’t have a whole crisis almost getting kicked out of the EU for refusing to take “Syrian” migrants,

I still see tweets from poles being leaked to /pol/ from time to time where you see how full of shitskins the streets of major cities in Poland are, or pictures of fresh refugee arrivals. You're not going to kick them out, stop even entertaining the idea. Just because your government doesn't brag about it like the Western Euro ones do doesn't mean it isn't happening, or that everybody is universally against it. You're just as cucked as the rest of the Euro countries, le based eastern europeans are a meme.
Growing up is recognizing McCarthy was based and so was Nixon.
I must be getting older or just gotten lucky, but we didn't spend too much time on either of them in my history class. That said, neither were really demonized either, but maybe that's just because the teacher wanted to focus as much time as possible on the poor suffering niggers around that time, and how we must be ashamed of being white.

God she's so fucking awesome.

TracingWoodgrains (@chiobu or @Drama Fan knows more about him) former gimp of the Blocked&Reported podcast did an exposé on the FAA straight up giving answers and code words to black organizations to further aid black applicants.
The whole article is a good read. They literally went to comical lengths to filter out white people, including completely arbitrary "biographical questionnaires" that literally had "correct and incorrect" answers. Cheat sheets were provided to an African American group the NBCFAE to distribute to only the right kind of test takers
In 2014, the FAA rolled out the new biographical questionnaire in line with the Barrier Analysis recommendation, designed so that 90% or more of applicants would "fail." The questionnaire was not monitored, and people could take it at home. Questions asked prospective air traffic controllers how many sports they played in high school, how long they'd been unemployed recently, whether they were more eager or considerate, and seventy-some other questions. You can take a replica of it yourself at Kai's Soapbox to see what they were up against. Graduates of the CTI program, like everyone else, had to "pass" this or they would be disqualified from further consideration. This came alongside other changes de-prioritizing CTI graduates.

CTI schools were blindsided and outraged by this change. A report on FAA hiring issues found that 70% of CTI administrators agreed that the changes in the process had led to a negative effect on the air traffic control infrastructure. One respondent stated their "numbers [had] been devastated," and the majority agreed that it would severely impact the health of their own programs. The largest program dropped from more than 600 students to less than 300. Concurrent to all of this, NBCFAE members were hard at work. In particular, one Shelton Snow, an FAA employee and then-president of the NBCFAE's Washington Suburban chapter, provided NBCFAE members with "buzz words" in January 2014 that would automatically push their resumes to the tops of HR files. A 2013 NBCFAE meeting advised members to "please include [on resumes] if you are a NBCFAE Member. [...] Can you see the strategy", emphasizing they were "only concerned" with the employment of "African-Americans, women ... and other minorities."

After the 2014 biographical questionnaire was released, Snow took it a step further. As Fox Business reported (related in Rojas v. FAA), he sent voice-mail messages to NBCFAE applicants, advising them on the specific answers they needed to enter into the Biographical Assessment to avoid failing, stating that he was "about 99 point 99 percent sure that it is exactly how you need to answer each question."
It's literal 3rd world dictatorship tier corruption while trying to maintain a façade of objectivity.

DEI isn't just about the applicants themselves either it's about the atmosphere that they create. Imagine being the 1 highly qualified person in the ATC room having to pick up the slack for multiple people and if you say anything you could be fired instantly.

The person working the helicopters was also coordinating landings and departures for planes which are supposed to be two separate jobs which is why you hear so much chatter on the comms right before the crash because they are jumping back and forth. Even a high performer would struggle being forced to do multiple jobs at same time while logging large amounts of OT every week.
Frankly after hearing the responses between the ATC and the helicopter I can't blame them. They warned them, the helicopter confirmed they had a visual on the plane and somehow still failed to keep a safe distance. The issue and fault here is on the helicopter, they should not be flying in the direct path of where planes will clearly be coming in for landing and taking off at non-stop. Apparently this has been an issue in the past (close calls not collisions) and they should know by now that they absolutely should not be flying in that area.

Whoever is the ATC person that screwed up better hope there's no good ol' Soviet Russians out there. They'll come kill you about be awarded medal, like my avatar level.

Vitaly Konstantinovich Kaloyev (Russian: Виталий Константинович Калоев, IPA: [vʲɪˈtalʲɪj kənstɐnʲˈtʲinəvʲɪtɕ kɐˈlojɪf]; Ossetian: Калоты Къостайы фырт Витали, romanized: Kaloty Qostaiy fyrt Vitali, IPA: [kɑloˈtə qostɑˈjə ˈfərt viˈtɑli]; born 15 January 1956) is a Russian former architect and convicted murderer who was found guilty of the premeditated killing of an air traffic controller after his family died aboard BAL Bashkirian Airlines Flight 2937, which collided with DHL International Aviation ME Flight 611 over Überlingen, Germany, on 1 July 2002.

Later, after his release from prison, Kaloyev was appointed deputy minister of construction of North Ossetia–Alania. In 2016, upon retirement from the local Ossetian government, Kaloyev was awarded the highest regional medal by that government, the medal "To the Glory of Ossetia". The medal is awarded for the highest achievements, improving the living conditions of the inhabitants of the region, for educating the younger generation and maintaining law and order.
