In "Classic" Mac OS (1 to 9) and early X versions, closing all the windows does not always close the software. One has to select quit from the menu. Dunno if different now.

I hate when I witness people treating low-rung employees like they're the highest authority at a store, post office, or any other place. As if the cashier is the one who makes the policies. More often than not, these same employees are only going through the motions so they can pay their bills and live. They can give two fucks about the companies they work for. Yelling at them, threatening them, and acting like they have any power over how things are run is beyond retarded. Furthermore, these same employees rightfully don't care if the company "loses your business." I wish people realized they're a drop in the bucket for all these big businesses. They're not going to cry themselves to sleep because you chose to shop at Walmart instead of Safeway.

Goodness you just unlocked a weird memory of mine from grade school. Powerlevel here but back in the day where we had English class, we had to analyze and translate song lyrics. We could choose one song plus one the teacher chose.
