Fuck you I'm double-posting. New mugshot of "Jaime" Zajko just dropped:
https://www.mynbc5.com/article/alert-border-agent-shooting-guns-vermont/63620549

Very hard to believe this is the same person from previous images...

Oh, AND we are also treated to the purported full text of the ATF bulletin:
"This is an important message from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. ATF is asking for your assistance in identifying any firearms purchases made by Michelle Jacqueline Zajko, a person of interest in the shooting of a Customs and Border Protection Officer on January 20, 2025.

Please review your records and notify ATF immediately at 802-557-6363 if you have any information about transfers or attempted transfers of firearms to Michelle Jacqueline Zajko."

The doomsday element is heavily tied to the concern towards the future of artificial intelligence, as first stirred up by the rats and eventually manifested in the establishment of CFAR/MIRI by the same. But it'd be a lie to say they're the first to do it, as anyone hip to Aum Shinrikyu of Japan and even millenarian cults from good ol' U.S. of A can attest to.
Yep that's why I laugh at people when they write civil war novels they always have it left versus white and they evenly divides and don't have a bunch of crazy psychotic ideologies that make neurological sense are clearly crackpot method pseudo philosophies.
I mean what the crazy fat man died was Taobao in Japan but at least he had some of the most original conspiracy theories the entire world is secretly controlled by the Dutch

The hippies were well-known for their love of LSD and no doubt, extensive drug use seems to be implicated here. But not just normal drug use, really it is more like the sort of mind-denting trauma-bonding bad trip shit that warps your mind and permafries it, to the point you're unable to relate your lived experiences and ideas
Y'know, this makes me think of Cosmo Wright. I wonder if these guys were hooked on soylent as well?

I think you're correct on that last point as well, particularly with the Aum comparison. The god complex leader and strange notion of "good" in particular line up well.

Hop, is that you?

Does anyone have an archive of the accusation related to Yudkowsky? If it has crazy jargon like Robert McCain says, we should try to get it preserved.

You want uncanny resemblances? Hold on to your ass, bitch:

rng.png

Both were eggheads
Both lived in California for part/all their life
Both struggled with transexuality
Both ended up doing a whacky and... yeah you get it by now.

Really wish the same exact thing would stop happening all the time ☹️

It's more retarded, though, because it presumes a superintelligent AI that could take over the world would somehow have human emotions like vengefulness and keep people alive to torture them instead of just eliminating them if they weren't useful. Why would this use of resources seem at all rational?
It's based on game theory concepts; I don't know exactly all the terminology for this, but it grows out of the idea of playing reciprocal "games" (in the game theory sense, it's hard to find the right layman's term for this, like bargaining, but not quite) in which both parties have agency and make decisions and respond to each others decisions, but because both are modeling the minds of the other they can interact asynchronously in time. The superintelligence of these entities is largely what makes them think they can do this, as it is assumed to be able to perfectly model past humans, even based on evidence they left behind after they're dead (as I said before, they assume exponential increases in intelligence are likely to cause current scientific paradigms to be overthrown wholesale, so they essentially just assume future superintelligences are God).

The actual idea is that a future superintelligence will be able to model humans of the past perfectly; so if an evil AI will arise in the future, it will know if you worked to prevent it from existing even if you died years before it exists, and this affects you personally because it can also simulate your consciousness and torture you boundlessly and this is indistinguishable from a real experience for you (this makes more sense when you know all of these people have talked themselves into believing the most parsimonious and likely cosmology is that we live in a simulation already). Where the game theory comes in is the idea that by existing hypothetically as an entity that would torture you for opposing it, this evil AI outcompetes one that wouldn't bother, because people today will realize this and stop opposing it in order to be spared this fate in case they fail. There's a term used a lot, "precommitting", that enables this move, you see Ziz reference it; by convincingly precommitting to fucking anyone who got in your way even after you win and it's pointless, you can get people (at least the ones like them who think way too much about this shit) to get out of your way and let you win, and then you fuck the ones who didn't because you said you would. This makes more sense with "iterated games" where the two agents interact multiple times and you can take past behavior into account; they're imagining playing it with an evil God they have a choice to help create who will only have to win once.

In some ways, a lot of this ends up being a reductio ad absurdum of game theory ideas, which itself is a fine semi-soft science sitting somewhere adjacent to economics and psychology; although a lot of the retardation is also coming from their conceptualization of consciousness and information.

You basically have to believe in certain Rationalist theories of decision making that allow entities that don't exist yet to effectively threaten people in the past, AND believe that a simulation of you IS you if it's perfect enough. It only hooks people that are already up to their necks in the Rationalist swamp.
And that's literally dementia, insanity, being too crazy to function in a normal world. It is the opposite of actual rationality, whatever these capital R "Rationalist" Retards claim to think. It's literally unintelligible to a functioning mind.

The absolute freaking out about a kind of dumb thought experiment like the Basilisk shows these weirdoes are in a cult. They may not be in a cult as bad and as murderous as the Ziz troon cult, but they are in a cult group that will continue to spawn absolute nutjobbery like this.

I'm actually aware of that, but this does not fit anything remotely comporting with actual game theory much less the John Forbes Nash equilibrium concepts. It's pure nut shit. It isn't based on math, or actual game theory, it's based on the hallucinations of delusional lunatics who understand neither.

Not really. As absolutely insane as AUM was, they could recruit people from top-tier science institutions who could actually synthesize things like sarin. This group is absolute morons jerking off to Harry Potter fanfic.

Still in this rabbit-hole when I came across this article: https://www.wmur.com/article/teresa-youngblut-david-maland-vermont-hearing/63621564 [archive]

Which I'm bothering to mention for this:

Jack LaSota is currently facing charges of obstructing law enforcement and disorderly conduct in Pennsylvania. Authorities won’t say whether those charges are related to the Zajko deaths, but court records show that police were searching for a gun used in two killings when they arrested LaSota 12 days later at a hotel about 10 miles from the scene of the killings.

Really makes you think...

Yeah the cult leader actually had some level of charisma none of these people have any these people are repulsive to look at and their ideology sounds like something you would get if you told ChatGPT to write some nonsense about philosophical subjects

It’s possible that Ziz killed the Zajkos without “michelle’s” blessing in some attempt to frame her and bring her down. Ziz threatened Michelle in the past but then she made a public blog post saying hey if anyone kills me it was Ziz. So Im wondering how things went from there…

I've got another .pdf file, kiwis! This one's a minor trinket in the grand scheme of things - Jack boy's honors upon graduation at his alma mater University of Alaska Fairbanks:

Jack Amadeus LaSota
magna cum laude, B.S., Computer Science.
University Honors Scholar

This lines up quite neatly with his listed education on his TopTal page, with the added bonus of being a wee bit more credible than whatever a troon said: https://www.toptal.com/resume/jack-lasota [archive]

Is this going to lead to another tranch like standoff with the cult members? I sure hope so, we need a tranny WACO

New York Post said:
Authorities now say the guns used by Youngblut and Bauckholt are owned by a person of interest in other murders — and connected to a mysterious cult of transgender “geniuses” who follow a trans leader named Jack LaSota, also known by the alias “Ziz.”
Journos buying the hype.
