Ironically enough, that's probably the mentality of a lot of people who are going to buy. What is the next game that looks remotely playable? Probably Doom? When you're dying of thirst, that piss jug starts to look real refreshing.

How about the last 30-40 years of gaming? I am sick and tired of the "But I have nothing to play!" crowd. I can spend countless hours on backlog and old favorites, but if non and anti woke games cant plant their flag now and gamers cant collect woke scalps, then our hobby does not have an HIV negative future. This is why I'm interested in the new Doom, because after Vavra cucked, ID just became the de facto torch bearer. They're still a western game studio, so they get very little faith, but they still get a little. Moreso, if Doom comes out, and its good, and it isnt pozzed, we need to reward it handsomely to send a message: Give me more games that I like. If its gay, it can still serve a message by going up on the cross next to warhorse.

Also, fuck anyone who is still a Bioware or Obsidian fan, the last good games they made were Mass Effect 2 and South Park Stick of Truth, respectively. Neither have been a good studio for more than a decade. Anyone left in the ranks of their fandom is either an SJW or hopelessly out of touch. Neither of those groups opinions matter beyond the power they can project. Both studios need to be put out of our misery.

Well, about that. I don't think he's actually lied about anything. Was he ever actually super based? Probably not. It's very possible that he decided that during the controversy of the first game he was going to put an African and Sodomy into the game but at the time he put his mind to it, it was far too late. Now this is purely speculation on my part but consider this. Despite it being unlikely that there was anybody foreign in sigismunds court, Vavra has included an African not for the reason of spiting his fans as people have speculated, but because he wanted to prove that he could write one into the story in a natural way. Not out of spite, but because he's prideful and stubborn and when he gets an idea into his head, he's gonna put it in there. As for the sodomy, still speculation by the way, in the "woman's lot-Madonna of sasau" quest there is an achievement for having every sin on your conscious that johanka can think of. It's not impossible that he had considered sodomy being one of these things at the time. Considering it was DLC and an afterthought, could not find a wat to include it that wasn't ham fisted. It's not like he was shy about including sodomy and gays in the game in the first place.

Attacking his audience, lying to his audience. Musa and sodomy don't seem like major parts of the game, this idea that he was trying to hide these things and rugpull the audience is flimsy at best. In all likelihood, they are not major parts of the game and he wasn't expecting people to be this upset about it. I personally don't give a shit. Newest games I played were Outer Worlds and COD MW2019, both released in the same year. They were both mediocre, I got by just fine with older games since then. There is enough good games out there you can play right now you can literally never touch a new product ever again and you will still be happy and entertained. There is more good entertainment than you will ever have free time to digest it, and as for brand new content, fan creations and mods are the way. Trying to "plant a flag" in modern gaming is a lost cause, I mean just look at the darling of the "anti-woke" crowd this thread is about. New games are cancer for many more reasons than just the political content they shove in, you usually don't have to deal with that in the older games. Kingdom Come was "rewarded" by fans with a flood of cash and good reputation, what did they do with it? They squandered it and spit on their fanbase. There is no such thing as a good developer worth giving money to, pirate everything and ignore the studios. If they self-immolate, that's not your problem, it's theirs. There is hundreds of thousands of hours of free entertainment you could digest instead. I am not a beggar, neither should you.

This might be shocking at first, but personally I've seen it so often that I am just not phased at all. Gamergate was a big redpill for people, obviously, but individual fandoms and even individual releases of games or media have these situations as well, where the fanbase is just fine with lowering standards or someone in charge selling out, or the product having something it should never have. The end result is always the same: Goalposts moved, product or franchise ruined, fanbase outed as nigger cattle and those who had a problem(ie have standards) are marked as "not real fans". This happening with the "anti-woke" crowd is the least surprising bit, as I said anyone who remembers Gamergate knows that these kinds of people are arguably even bigger niggercatle than the actual woke SJW types. Vavra knows this, Embracer knows this, everyone pulling the strings from behind the scenes knows this, they probably teach this shit when you train to enter the industry at this point. you're not wrong, however it's obvious by now (always was really) that woketards don't buy/want that shit they're shilling. a company's goal is to make money, and sooner or later they either follow the market forces like supply & demand, or get replaced. that's just how it is, no matter how much fuck you money they have or whatever tax incentives they exploit (the latter being especially risky since governments can and will change and the market reacts accordingly, see shit like californian DEI laws).

You would think someone would jump in to fill in the gap that KCD left behind, but you must remember:
1) The first game already had a lot of industry veterans on board. A game like this is hard to make
2) They had money via crowdfunding

How many indie or AA devs can pull this off? They either lack one or both of these. I don't think we will ever see a game of this scope and size ever again, maybe some smaller title, but KCD1 will always be the only truly historically accurate open world RPG like this. The stars aligned perfectly, and the jew in charge saw that as a way to get a new sports car instead of trying to build a long-term franchise. Definitely depressing, and you can bet KCD2 ensured that something like this won't be tried again at least for a few years, maybe more depending if it tanks or not.

FD was much like Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the sense that they both were a leftover of the original CWCiki's founding more than a decade ago.
