Culture Adult star Emily Willis 'permanently disabled' after rehab stint for 'ketamine addiction' - Pornstar gets turned into retard by ketamine abuse

(L/A)
Ex-adult star Emily Willis is "permanently disabled" after being treated for a "ketamine addiction" at a Malibu rehab centre which resulted in severe brain damage, according to a bombshell lawsuit.

The legal action is taken against Summit Malibu and its parent company Malibu Lighthouse Treatment Centers, LLC, citing "abuse of a dependent adult, professional negligence, negligence and fraudulent business practices".

At just 25 years old, Emily, whose real name is Litzy Lara Banuelos, remains semi-conscious after she suffered cardiac arrest at the treatment facility. Despite promises to monitor her closely, detailed in their intake contracts, staff at Summit Malibu allegedly watched her health decline over several days without transferring her to a hospital.

On February 4, 2024, when a nurse practitioner discovered her unconscious, it wasn't clear how long she had been unattended. Upon finding Emily, the nurse immediately called emergency services, administered CPR and sought help from colleagues.

Paramedics continued CPR for 30 to 40 minutes until they restored a heartbeat, but by then, the extended lack of oxygen had caused brain damage, leaving her comatose. The lawsuit, Cooper v. Malibu Treatment Centers and Summit Malibu (Case No. 24SMCV06328), was lodged on December 27, 2024, at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

"Had the staff followed standard medical protocols, Emily would have had the opportunity to regain control of her life," attorney James A. Morris Jr. from Morris Law Firm, representing Emily and her guardian Yesenia Lara Cooper, lashed out over the shocking clinical oversight.

"No patient should ever be subjected to such a horrendous breakdown in clinical care. Her health was ignored until it was too late, and now her life is forever changed."

Having succumbed to ketamine addiction, Emily checked into the coastal rehab on January 27, 2024, the suit reveals. Consuming a whopping five to six grams daily for an entire year, she faced disturbing side effects which included bladder inflammation, urinary incontinence, and alarming night terrors.

Her past was marred by major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, and PTSD, conditions for which she received anti-depression and anti-anxiety medication.

Contrary to rampant speculation, drug tests conducted upon admission disclosed that Emily hadn't been using ketamine or other substances, and her weight was actually a mere 100lbs, not the incorrectly reported 80lbs. Consistent clean test results over the subsequent days contrasted with her rapidly failing health, laid bare by the legal claim.

The lawsuit claims that Emily became "dishevelled, frail, disoriented" with a "nervous" mood and "poor" insight and behaviour, struggling even to walk. It details how she was barely eating, not showering or getting dressed, and suffered from aches, tremors, spasms, weakness, appeared to be in pain, and experienced vaginal pain.

Morris stated: "Eventually she grew so dehydrated that a nurse could not measure her blood pressure. By this time her acute medical distress had been recorded and yet they left the decision to go to an urgent care up to a patient who was suffering incredible pain and could not care for her own well-being. There is no excuse for their failure to obtain medical and psychological care."

Following a cardiac arrest 26 hours later, Emily was left in a vegetative state, according to the suit. She has reportedly regained consciousness, can track things with her eyes but remains unable to move or speak, and is now in a care home in Utah.

Morris further commented: "We hope this lawsuit will spur real change in how treatment centers handle critical cases. Too many patients who should be receiving life-saving interventions are being lost to negligence."

Summit Malibu and its parent company, Malibu Lighthouse Treatment, have been named in the lawsuit.

Our media really can't decide whether women are as vulnerable as literal children or if they are smarter and more capable than men in every single way. This whore made her choices. You can say that she was coerced or that she was taken advantage of, but the fact remains that she chose to do drugs and get fucked by lots of men, probably a lot of literal niggers and faggots. If this was a man, it wouldn't even be a story. Fuck this whore, she probably lived a much simpler life compared to most men the same age as her up to this point. Do ketamine daily for however long, your brain gets fried...not like she had no idea it's bad for you.

Does ketamine withdrawal cause respiratory and cardiac depression? Something has gone very wrong here, if whats written here is right then they should have transferred her to hospital way before.
There is apparently no standardized regimen for ketamine withdrawal treatment. Looking around the literature I saw one study where they tried naltrexone (harmless enough as they go), but a bunch of papers that referenced using a combination of benzos and neuroleptics.

A dose of 10 mg of olanzapine led to a further decrease in agitation, so the patient was started on 10 mg h.s. of olanzapine, 2 mg t.i.d. of lorazepam, and 0.1 mg b.i.d. of clonidine. The next day, staff noted that he was calmer, more cooperative, and less labile, although he still reported racing thoughts. He continued to be irritable and labile for the next 2 days, at which time 1500 mg h.s. of valproic acid was added to his medication regimen, which he reported was helpful in managing anxiety and improving concentration.

Benzodiazepine regimens and haloperidol were reported to have potential utility in intoxication and withdrawal, whereas naltrexone, lamotrigine, and a combination of paliperidone palmitate and bupropion were reported to have potential utility in craving/relapse prevention.

Heavy antipsychotics plus heavy benzodiazepines could certainly result in some respiratory issues if the person was not being properly monitored.

Yeah, the porn industry, straight, gay, men, women is absolutely riven with destructive substance abuse. They are frequently abused, exploited, miserable or simply need it for the 'job' and only the most strong-willed make it out.

Why is this news? Who is this woman?

Porn stars may just be holes to some people, but to others they are a vital muse of sexual awakening that are worthy of praise, recognition, and even song. I’m sure a few kiwis remember her videos, and are deflated a little by this sad turn of events. I mean she was 2021 Performer of the Year!

It says she was an ex-star. I don't know anything about her. But maybe she was trying to turn her life around. No one deserves to die from medical neglect. Especially not at 25.
I don‘t know she retired the only thing that called her an ex-star was the Daily Mail and that was a story about a fan page being retired. She was still active up till 2024 when she had her incident. Who knows I guess.

It looks like she had an onlyfans which probably had hella subscribers - for anyone not aware she was a pretty mainstream and popular porn star with probably tens of billions of views. I have heard several porn stars have moved from doing "commercial porn" to onlyfans and similar shit because they make way more fucking money.
Like I think that most porn videos they do (even if you're a well known porn star like her) only pay like $5000 or some shit but maybe she was earning more than that.

She was a super mainstream, super "famous" porn star, so not just some random minor porn star.

For reference, the Gofundme set up by her family for medical expenses is still getting donations regularly - 1,700 people have donated: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-emily-williss-journey-to-recovery

Just donations from one person (I don't know if they're a simp or maybe someone who works in the porn industry?)

Meshal is a pakistani (urdu) name. Coming from the arabic/persian "mishal"

I'm leaning towards simp. Pakis are basically muslim indians after all.

Are there any pornstars who retire and live a happy life?
I haven’t heard anything bad about Sasha Grey. Stoya has retired into a successful sex columnist career. Penny Flame real name Jennifer Ketcham successfully regained sobriety and retired to work in helping others recover from addiction. A few former pornstars find religion and reform into advocates against the industry and traditional wives. And of course some just retire to work behind the scenes or like Nina Hartley, Angela White, or Jelena Jensen never fucking retire at all.

Simp. Simp behaviour. Fellow pornstars would only donate one lump sum...(I've been told).

Oh well, okay, so long as she has a genuine fanbase.
