This letter comes after Republican Attorneys General successfully challenged the Biden Administration’s 2024 Title IX rewrite, which the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky ruled was unlawful and, therefore, unenforceable in schools, colleges, and universities nationwide.

The department will return to enforcing Title IX protections on the basis of biological sex in schools and on campuses. Returning to the 2020 Title IX Rule also ends a serious threat to campus free speech and ensures much stronger due process protections for students during Title IX proceedings.

My reading of it is that any clinic who accepts medical insurance to pay for transition has to provide detransition services which are also paid for by the insurance company.

I wonder how much of a hit the insurance companies are willing to accept to their bottom line before the quietly withdraw "transgender care" from their policies...

They've stopped it happening to kids though, so that's the main thing as far as I'm concerned.

The "adults" deciding to transition were never going to be a net positive to society, so I don't see them ending their contribution to the gene pool as a great loss.

It could even be that the federal removal of the "perks" associated with trooning out will deter some of them as well.
