One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

I'm going to say that whatever BB has going in not DF related, since Saturn mentioned his lineage on Egghead. I'm guessing he's another last survivor of some race or potentially another failed experiment. Possibly an early attempt to create a Seraphim.

That'd also 100% Zuneshia in the mural.

I'm more curious about the serpent and bird shadow, they resemble the Elders in their DF form and it even mentions that the god of the forest sent demons.

I always thought thought Imu was more associated with the ocean than anything.

I'm also calling now that the man marked by flame is a Lunarian, he's not marked by flame he's marked by A flame. That would solve who the flying angel like character in the mural is. Or else it's just Marco.
 
My assumption is that the god’s will be different devil fruit users.. If the Fruit’s have wills then I imagine that will play a role.

Also, people who like Skypeia. Does anybody remember the call back to when Nolan’s saves the guys wife? Skypeia had four gods, they did not have a Sea god though. They had a storm or rain god, I bet it’s Dragon. My guess is that Imu is the new sea god with the Umi-Umi fruit or something and the Devil Fruit curse is him/ her.

My bet for Blackbeard is that he’s a conjoined twin race and that’s why he never sleeps. Rocks was likely his father who got tortured by the Dragons and went crazier than Fisher Tiger.

Honestly, I assume that the mural just represents “all the major characters Luffy has met and become friends with”. If Oda can’t get everybody, then it’ll just be those who have some skin in the game of the wider meta beyond the treasure.

But knowing One Piece, it’s mostly going to be a case of a repeat of Amazon Lily and Impel Down before Marineford, because Luffy doesn’t know about the bigger picture of how who he is and what he does plays into the bigger picture of the lore and the world beyond his immediate objectives on his quests to do list. And if he does know, he doesn’t really care.

Well I'm glad it just wasn't my schizo brain thinking Franky looked liked the robot in Silhouette. That's a big question cause you have Nika which is kind of an archetype/role that Luffy and Joyboy have played but also Imu who has been around for centuries, which raises the question of what in the mural will be literal like Imu Versus Nika who is multiple people. Occam’s Razor: Imu will face Nika leading an army, which is really Imu fighting Luffy because of something like kidnapping Vivi and holding her prisoner. Again, Enies Lobby, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, Marineford. It’ll be those arcs but on a much bigger scale.

I'm not going to assume the mural will 100% represent the final battle because we don't know how big Joy Boy's alliance was and Giants either did or did not partake in the battle given they have no record of ever allying with other races. Since it was made in the middle of the Void Century, it assumes that the final battle between Joy Boy and the 20 families wasn't the exact end of the Century since it does take time to set up a new government, and it sounds like Lili disappeared right at the end of the century.

Whatever it is, the final battle is going to be like a companion piece to what happened 800 years prior, and we're going to definitely get an awesome double-page spread that echoes the mural, but it's not going to be a 1:1 remake.

Didn’t Vegapunk say Joy Boy vs 20 was the event that ended the Void Century though? Also, I don’t think it was ever established how Lili disappeared , just that she was responsible the poneglyhs spread, and that pissed Imu off and now Imu has a picture of her to look at.

Also, I don’t think anyone thinks it’s going to be a perfect 1:1, and I think there’s going to be another curveball thrown by Oda because this sets up things about the end a little too nicely. who actually shows up will probably depend on the wider things Luffy doesn’t care about.

No, it says Joy Boy’s defeat and death was the end. And considering there is a letter of apology by Joy Boy it’s very very likely the battle wasn’t the end technically.

It’s very likely the end was Joy Boy’s execution after he turned himself in sometime after the war.
 
Friend and I just pondered this question and I'm legit lost and confused. What would the awakened Horm-Horm Fruit even be like? My shitpost response was eugenics but that sounds terrible and I don't know how that'd even work.

my guess is blackbeard is either his own race or just part fishman. i do think rocks is his father though. rocks most likely told him everything he knew as well which is why blackbeard seems to have his own way of going about getting the one piece that seems far more planned out than everyone else. almost like he knows whats coming and wants to be prepared.

my guess would be something pheromone related. maybe the users body just starts emitting pheromones that cause all enemies to lose the ability to fight them. that or the user can just manipulate things without stabbing people. like you can just look at somebody and choose what happens.

The big thing is that black beard never sleeps. My guess is that he literally has a conjoined twin who sleeps for him. The twin has White Beards fruit.
