Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl 59?

I wonder how hard the NFLPA is gonna push for some revenue sharing of betting in the next CBA, and if they'll even get anything.
They'll do the usual thing and pit the top players against the bottom and middle tier players. Because top players sell almost all of the merchandise. The quarterbacks and top players getting their faces on the gambling commercials don't want that money to go back into some shared revenue pool.

Why are they white?
Most of these groups are basically larpers. A lot of Native activists are usually either white people who fetishize non-whites (like every 70’s group was this) or Mexicans trying to grift. Actual natives do not fuck with the sports teams, they get money and a platform with them. Actual natives are actually pissed that Dan Snyder fucked with their grift.

The Native land bullshit is gay as fuck and most native guys I know (friends from my brothers time in the military) liked sports and liked the native teams.

@Winsome Whimsical Waif is this organization based in Minnesota? Minnesota larpers are worse than Virginia “Cherokee” faggots. They basically just butt in everywhere.

I don't believe so. The About/Contact page says this. (Link/Archive)

He is 2-3 against Peyton in the playoffs...
Sure but Peyton's at least a guy on his level, losing a few AFC Championships against him is not this ego breaking moment. Losing against a guy who many would say was an average QB at best, twice no less, and a guy who wasn't even considered good enough to be a starter in Philly, so much so that you walk of the field in a seething rage instead of congratulating him, is probably much more difficult for him to grapple with.

I hate Mahomes, Kelce, Taylor Swift, and the Kansas City Chiefs. They’re the NFL’s pet team. The worst fans out there.

Sometimes I think the Dallas Cowboys don’t even deserve all the hate they get given 30 years of failure. The Chiefs are arguably worse in the modern era.

Also in terms of lovable losers, the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans come to mind. I wish both teams the best of luck going forward and I see potential with both. Also the Buffalo Bills as well. The refs did the Bills dirty.

Anyone else getting really apathetic with the NFL?
You used to hear people say they only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. Now I don't even think people do that, probably because they assume everything will be woke and politicized.

Younger me always looked forward to whatever the new Budweiser clydesdale commercial would be. When is the last time they had a good one?

Well, when your rival is given blatant favoritism, every ad break has its players shown, and you can't even watch vids without its players podcast being recommended nonstop, it's hard not to be tbh. Even with the solid season the Chargers had, I felt less of a sting at that playoff loss than I did when the Bulldogs lost to Notre Dame.

Old school fans maybe, but that's isn't who they're catering to. We aren't the target demographic anymore. They have enough football fans. They want everyone else. Last season saw a larger growth in female viewership than male. What do you think happened this season with thanks to Swift? I've heard people wearing team apparel tell me "Oh yeah, I really got into the sport after <a friend> got me to into sports betting." He'd literally never talked about sports before like week 5. "My wife loves live betting games. It's great that we watch them together now." That's another one I heard. Fantasy leagues with cash prizes are doing the same thing in states without sports betting.

The owners demanded Goodell make them ungodly amounts of money and he is doing just that. Team valuations are through the roof. Owners planning for the future are having to sell ownership stakes in the franchises so their kids can afford the estate tax when they die. The Commies went for $6B. They weren't exactly a premier franchise at the time of the sale.

I don't know whether owners don't understand that this isn't sustainable, they think the NFL is too big to fail, or they just don't care.

On one hand, my Commies just had their best season in God only knows how long, and Snyder’s seething just made it better.

On the other hand, the blatant refball in basically every game just kills any sense of excitement to watch. If I wanted scripted physical sports I’d watch wrestling. And that’s before the two most insufferable teams and their respective, insufferable fanbases made the Big Game AGAIN.

No seriously though, they can’t put a GPS in a Football and have to rely on some blind retards in stripes to spot the ball in a pile up?
