with "AAVE" being recognized as a legitimate language as opposed to just slang or a vernacular, theres the issue that there seems to be no stopping point when it comes to what is and isn't valid, respectable, professional (if such a concept even exists in it) and correct language

they claim it's no different than a real language, but they don't hold it to the same standards, in English there is language that's considered polite, language that's considered academic, and even language that's full blown not recognized
if you presented a scientific article in English that reads like "...And the oxygen molecule is freakin' cool, dawg! And when you rock in two hydrogen molecules all smooth like? That is the BOMB! That water is rockin sockin monkeyfuckin taaaaasteey!" they'd kick your ass out, sure it's English, but half of it isn't professional and half of it isn't grammatically or structurally correct, some of these words aren't even recognized
but with Ebonics? there's no limits, how can they say it's not slang when every new slang term immediately slots into the "language", listen to any example of Ebonics being presented as a legitimate and high class language and you'll see instances of slang that is no older than a couple of weeks and have just been popularized via tiktok attempting to be defined and presented respectably

it's the only language where there is no indication or class, context or the environment you're in to the way you speak beyond "you'z be mah nigga, nigga" and "im bez shankin yo nigga, nigga"
