Stupidest Reasons People Have Decided They Were Trans - I'm depressed because I get sad. I'm a psychopath because I get mad. I'm trans because I watch gay porn.

Well, sure, but there has to be an extra step (or more steps) that leads from "not understanding how humans work" to "I must be different that what I was biologically born as".

If being autistic is a strong correlation, your reasoning indicates that being trans is somewhat inevitable. Except it can't be, because if an autistic person can't understand how one sex works, it doesn't mean they automatically slot into the other. In fact, it's more likely and intuitive that they're asexual, simply because they can't figure out anyone.

Of course there's more steps, there's a bunch of different reasons why someone may be compelled to change their gender like all the posts in this thread. I'm not applying it as blanket reasoning that all autistics could/will become trannies. It's more theorizing about the logic that allows them to make that leap in the first place when exposed to the idea of being able to change your gender, and why it may be a hard concept for someone autistic to understand because of their inability to conceptualize the reality of the opposite sex.

Girl I knew years ago didn't like being short so they were convinced that transitioning and going on testosterone would make them taller. Tried explaining that's not how that works, especially since they were already 19. Last I heard, they were still trans and short.

Most of the time, these people transition because they desperately want to imagine being a woman or a dude. Some of these people go through desperate lengths, most of the time having suicidal ideation, because they don't have magical girl tits or boy penis. Nowadays, though, you can call yourself trans and literally not do anything to actually present as trans except online. You know how the crowd is with the whole trans label to this day. You can have the most boy-ish voice, boy-ish look, boy-ish attitude, but as long as you say "I go by she/her" and have a vaguely attractive female avatar (or vice versa for trans men), you 1000% pass and anyone who says otherwise is an evil transphobic bigot.

As always, there's no such thing as a normal trans person because let's be honest, if you're wanting to be the opposite gender so bad to the point of suicide, that's not normal. It's not normal to feel like this. It can't be that hard for this crowd to admit they're mentally ill? Some at least try to admit but they usually excuse themselves to act like they're different from the average trans person.

We already know they mainly transition either through AGP (that they extremely deny that they dont have), simping over their favorite characters a little bit too much, or because they got told they were trans by some random Tumblr/Twitter/TikTok user because they... did non-boyish/girlish things or they occasionally thought about what it would be like to be the opposite gender.

I have yet to see any trans person, at least more than two, plainly admit they transitioned or thought they were trans to fulfill their imaginative fantasies. I could count Chris Chan but... I think that's too easy an answer since he's just a full on AGP. The same could be said for most trans people, but still.

Yeah, there could be "legitimate reasons" behind someone's need to transition or feeling of being the opposite sex, but most of it just dwindles to "I didn't feel like this or that" but paraphrased a million times. So all in the end, there's never any "justified" reason for transitioning other than to fulfill a fantasy you want to conceptualize outside your mind. But most people refuse to understand that and try to go in the "2deep4me" route as much as possible to gaslight and confuse people.

A friend of mine became a pooner because she got groomed by another pooner lol.
She was a fairly attractive and decent young woman, I suppose dealing with internet creeps made her a little self conscious at times, but holy shit man.
Lopped her tits off, took T, took some blatantly pooner name and then got dumped by the pooner who groomed her into being a pooner.

I tried to help her where I could, sort of guide her without being really mean about it, that she was probably making mistakes not only being around this individual but mutilating herself. Alas. I was not listened to. Haven't been her friend for a few years cuz I said "faggot" once when referring to someone and she got mad about it lol. Turned into a stereotype, it was sad to see.

oh, i forgot to add, the reason this original pooner, who groomed my friend into being a pooner, became a pooner? a weird yaoi hentai addiction. yep...

It all comes back to porn, they normally go after the autistic naive ones because they more easier to groom. Some people in my University transitioned after they watched TMNT and call themselves Donnie.

Thank you, was about to post this.

former femboy is the worst one because it always means they are doing it to somehow transcend twink death,
like to them there is nothing scarier than not being able to maintain the trap aesthetics for as long as possible,
Men need more than sex to sustain them and some are too shallow to ever understand that.

Ah, storytime! Ready to accept my puzzle pieces and all that.

My native language is extremely gendered. When you're a girl, all your verbs and words receive a gendered ending in the form of the letter "-a". Due to that, you can't exactly keep your gender a secret whenever you decide to talk to somebody on the Internet, and things can get quite awkward for girls in spaces filled mostly by guys. And, well, that's what happened to me in 2020.

I could be yet another dumb kid who just really liked Among Us. But I just **had** to get the bright idea of pretending to be a guy in there to blend in with the others (and avoid potential bullying, all while already being a she/they genderspecial in western online spaces. Bet y'all can guess what that led to a year later...

Glad to see you're out of that friend ❤️

This may be powerlevel but my story could have been very similar to yours if it was not for actually responsible parents and doctors who helped me when I was younger.

I often pretended to be a guy on the internet as a very young kid, before I even knew what transgenderism was.

That plus bad self image issues lead me to convincing myself that I was super jealous of how men looked and that I wanted to look like that. And I was mad because of that. Glad I never did anything. But I thought of it. Makes me roll my eyes now.
