Funny to read so many comments that are no different than what everyone is saying about him now. Mack's been running the same playbook for years. The timing on the thread is just about right too. The 6 year mark is when things started to kick off like this and it's only gotten worse.

Did you read the rest of my post? I said it is unlikely there was any ulterior motive behind that decision, therefore not woke. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, and frankly I don't care since NV isn't woke(it definitely would be if it was made today). Going over every bit of the game for a purity test is just as retarded as forcibly adding in that kind of content to begin with.

Im not saying for him to be Markiplier but at least adknowledge that his fans make it all possible and be open for constructive criticism, even if he doesnt personally agree with.

Synth could have just read the large donos and just give like a regular response or perhaps just laugh it off to just push the old parasocial fans / temper their expectations.

There was a video made by cry about “Synthetic Man Reacting To Zoomer” which is just him reacting to fleekazoid and disliking the fast editing / milquetoast take. In there one of his problem was that he hates how “Everything Doesn’t Matter” or the post post irony view that zoomer takes. It’s a valid criticism for Fleekazoid because by the end of the review at times you would wonder if he likes or dislike the game. But back to Synth, he said that he himself takes thing seriously because he care about the topic.

I think what happens is that he at times took everything too seriously, especially in streams. He might need to just laugh it off or at times just admit he fucked up during streams. He could still keep his seriousness in the video, but streams are supposed to be fun and interactive. I get the whole “I’m not wrong you are!” Character / persona streamer do, but he has let that persona seep into his main character. See the clip puar made about the old synth. His smile was more genuine and I feel like Synth was just happy that people watched his video. I believe he said that there was a period where he was depressed and starting youtube gave him purpose and what not. Then again you can watch his older videos, even like TLOU2 or Ghost of Tsushima and he sounded much more relaxed.

You can it has woke elements, but he gets multiple things wrong in this video like how tribes are supposed to be analogous to racial tribes of human past, but small groups formed where the the people gathered after the bombs so there was already a group bias. The boomers are considered tribals in fallout lore it has nothing to do with race.
For the Ranger I'm fine if you want to call that woke, but also don't forget you also have another female soldier who is a psychologically scarred from being raped by a raider.
Also bitching about the Joshua Graham is fucking retarded because even in the best ending Graham doesn't kill the leader but spares him the whole thing is supposed to be about faith and redemption and how it interacts with different people so of fucking course it's going to have different outcomes and viewpoints.

I'm fine if people want to call parts of New Vegas woke, but complaining about shit that has been a thing since 1 and not knowing about how certain things work is dumb and I would even be fine if you called Fallout 1 proto woke as long as you are consistent.
However complaining how the whole Honest Hearts DLC is filled with different beliefs where the main characters of said dlc whole deal is failure, redemption, and faith and the conflict is about standing your ground or running, innocence, and the cycle of vengeance is just dumb.
 
Is synth already registered for the elden ring night reign network test? Because I know he has a PS5, and I'll have a spare code lying in my email soon. It would be fun to see him do a pseudo review of it.
