Don't get me wrong, NV is my favorite modern Fallout game, but I don't want to be caught up in a weak stance on what is or isn't gay shit or woke.
same with If you were watching a horror movie, you'd want it to be too scary, than not scary enough, a comedy too funny than not funny enough.
I would want anything I consume to lean towards not gay at all, than a little gay.

Vast majority of content there is made to make things interesting, not to fill a quota, but I guess zoomies who are only interested in culture wars and didn't even bother playing the older games wouldn't know anything about that.

Moreover, this is offtopic, so if people who never played Fallout before want to argue how Fallout as a franchise is woke, they're free to do so in the Fallout thread. There are things in there that could be considered that, but they never said the correct ones. The captured female ranger beating armed legionaries with their bear hands, the fact that 2 base game companions are gay, 3 if you count dlc, you can be fisted by a robot, other female companion is slutty except with you, and other such things but everything synth mentioned otherwise is retarded.
Other things that he complains about are just retarded like what tribals are like no shit you have an in group race bias, but if I'm stuck with my community in the post apocalypse I'm not going to kill all the non whites.
Most tribals come from vaults which aren't usually one race either.

But as of right now they are and the NCR is meant to be the continuation of the old world. If you disagree with how the NCR runs things then you can go and fight for the legion instead.

The entire point of new vegas and the reason why it works is that all the factions are presented realistically instead of as strawmen, with an exemption made for the writers ideology who will bring upon utopia.

Woke describes a very specific kind of militant and very retarded progressivism. A woke game wouldn’t make a case for the legion like NV does, they would present them like Dustborn does Justice. Neither would they show us House in the way that NV did, they would’ve portrayed him like they portrayed the main executive in the outer worlds - a bumbling idiot that has no idea what he’s doing. Wokenes and by extension the art they produce lacks nuance, they are very direct and very preachy in their output.

Meanwhile in new vegas there’s a compelling case to be made for every faction, it really depends on what the player values. If you think we should progress more than we ever did before, go house. If you think modern liberal democracy is the best thing there is, go with the NCR. You think we’ve lost our way and need to get back to the old ways? Legion. Anarchy? Free Vegas (the only option that the game portrays as bad, more of a fail safe to prevent soft-locks really).

They will never make proper arguments because they're jaded zoomer retards. They don't care about gaming and I doubt they even play games, let alone those that are older than them, so arguing with them is a waste of time. Synth can pull off what they're trying to do since has a modicum of intelligence, experience in debates and actually plays games, something that his fans and copycats don't seem to share. Even then he is also prone to putting up retarded points, as you said, so there really is no need to talk to them at all. You probably have a better use of your time.
Note that talking to them is like trying to have a good conversation on cuckchan's /v/, because they're probably from there and think this is about the same level of conversation that is the norm when talking about games.
