Antioch Highschool 764 Shooting

(Ultra) nationalism and national socialism in eastern europe is as complex as 30 years war. And sometimes it isn't and it's just groups of football hooligans with cheap tattoos. Nothing in between. Jokes aside it's really not a discussion for this thread (as it has a solid potential to shit everything up).
Tldr: outside of virtue signaling, police doesn't really care usually. Hard to say how much the local glows do and whether they would be able to do something if some group/groups decided to do a funny.

So to rerail, please put the zigger/cops screenshot into context w/r/t the com-sphere or whatever we're calling it.

I was posting about incident elsewhere and trying to find some normie friendly sources for some of the more terminally online elements (e.g., 764com, MKY/MKU, etc.). Found this absolute abortion of an article and started down a very short rabbit hole. Apparently the article was also published to Alternet by the same author and aggregated to another site. The article references something called Soyjak Attackers Video Fandom... which, as far as I can tell, is not a thing. This is referenced to a blog (Substack?) that is behind a paywall of an apparent extremism researcher apparently currently obsessed with 764, MKU, and other mass casualty murder cults.
As for the term, the only hits I get in Brave search are to the raw story article and it's copies and that blog. Can't get an archive of the google search, but it's more of the same + this ADL article that at one point tries to pin it on the Sharty due to the references. The ADL article does not [yet] include the term.

On a side note, it's interesting that if you publish the same article in multiple places it tricks Brave's AI summary engine to cite only that article. AI SEO manipulation is the future.

So, why does this matter and why am I posting this here? Between the ADL article; the attempt to SEO this term into becoming a thing; and the absolutely laughable "extremist researcher" pushing this shit... it feels like the opening volley of a deplatforming campaign.
Either that or I'm having way too much of the 'tism today and seeing patterns where there are none.

What makes the researcher laughable in your opinion? I've often found that people like to dismiss researchers via delegitimizing, demonizing, projection, etc because the groups being researched don't like being paid attention to, even when they are doing things that are for attention. A similar example can be seen with researched BX on X.

Not that your viewpoint isn't valid, I just fail to see why this particular researcher is to be delegitimized. I mean yeah, he looks like a soft soyboy, and is FUCKING WHITE MALE... but what disqualifies him?

I don't know what you mean exactly. (The translation is...funny at places...Z-nickname got me rolling). Anyway, I have no idea how MKU is ought to be connected to anything here really, he is basically just saying that local cops turn the blind eye when they (lowlife street skinheads and nazi larpers) assault immigrants. Because lots of local cops are the same skinheads and nazi larpers who just got a job. And of course, total immigrant death is not banned in Russia on the low level.

The original post is above us if you scroll up, posted mostly w/o comment, other than to underline passages in red. If you don't know how MKU is related, maybe someone else does.

Shooter's older Twitter account @Harambayboy
I've heard from someone that's given me good info before that Henderson's confirmed HaramboiDilly account was just named after Harambayboy, not that Harambayboy was the original account of Henderson before HaramboiDilly. Is there anything to suggest this really was an older account of his?

Pattern recognition. In general most people who actually call themselves "disinformation researchers" or "online extremist researcher" are either grifters or partisan hacks, usually both. Or funded by glowies.

That's not to say they won't have useful observations, it's just their conclusions tend to be unscientific, their reasoning just as conspiratorial as those they claim to research. A lot of working backwards from a conclusion rather than presenting a theory and proving it. The ur-example of this would be Jim Stewartson and his obsession with Mike Flynn being Q.

That blog requires an email to subscribe, but is not paywalled. The article mentioned is by a guest blogger, not Argentino himself, for what it’s worth.
Good to know. I just need another burner email to read the article.
Upon first glance, tho: anonymous authorship... for their protection obviously. I wonder if they have a twitter account, because the earliest link I could find to that article was from this twitter post.

I'm not even half way through and already we have this "everyone I don't like is a fascist err, terrorist" bit.

We know about the "Terrorgram" connection, but absent are niche places like WatchPeopleDie.
Good to know we're getting lumped in to "smaller niche platforms" that groom mass shooters, like Discord. whew.

I came accross that "Soyjak Video Attacker Fandom" Linkedin article as well but as you said, it lacks nuance. It creates a false equivalence between all of these online communities (weirdly enough including Kiwi Farms even though it's obvious we aren't endorsing school shooters) implying that they're all equally at fault for the radicalization of minors.

This more 'unprofessional' blog article on the Aesthetics Wiki is actually better at explaining the connections (and it also mentions the gore community);
