while you're right, the mexican states on the border have a shitload of ports or gold and copper and silver mines and shit like that. like there's a fuck load of resources there. and most of the population is basically white. they also are the most conservative parts of mexico and so getting them would be like getting extra texans.
sonora has tons of gold and copper they mine every year. is gold not worth anything now? and then chihuahua has tons of silver, plus mexico was stupid enough to put most of their factories there too.
It's always been kind of a telling thing about Mexico.

Tons of natural resources. People who CAN fucking work, we've seen them work in the US. Border with a HUGE economy. Could do an Atlantic to Pacific rail-line setup with NO problem, shipping stuff faster and cheaper than the Panama Canal. Ports on both oceans. Tons of factories from American businesses.

They should be a mini-America. An economic powerhouse.

Instead, they're a borderline failed state.

is 1000 pages in a dozen days unprecedented?

high quality 1000 pages to, when president Vance finishes annexing Mexico and strengthening the Canadian states integration he should move to preserve important works like this thread in the library of congress

Going to make @Fatpacks sign the bottom of it like Hancock
Trump just speed running the presidential process.
  1. Asking the dreamers/babbydroping question early?
  2. main question are we vassal/economic hub or actual country?
Only thing that's still ify is economic executive order & crypto &tips&income tax

If he's worried about the midterms he could forgive student loan debt, legalized weed, or dismantle the ATF. I bet any one of these things would insure a republican victory.

Brandon Herrera recently put out a video that I found rather appealing, he suggests not to destroy the ATF outright but put someone in charge first that is extremely pro-2A and have them dismantle the ATF from the inside, then once most of the dumb rules and enforcement are ripped away, then you abolish the ATF.

I genuinelly cannot believe they picked david hogg. This would be like the reps picking ethan ralph or dick masterson. It's so batshit that I find it worrying.

I can believe it, the Dems have learned nothing. They doubled down, quadrupled down, and quintupled down on these insane policies. Ignoring that they're losing Hispanic voters and a lot of the working class that still wanted to believe in them.

Right now for the GOP it's their game to lose, if Trump's overall ideology does shift the party permanently the Republicans can actually stop being a party of dignified losers.

Reminder that Claudia Sheinbaum won the 2024 general election in Mexico by 33 points. She achieved the highest vote percentage of any candidate there since 1982.

I remember hearing that there were also a bunch of potential political challengers to her that were mysteriously murdered in the run up to the election. Her party is largely owned by the cartel families, wouldn't be shocked if a lot of money also changed hands to "convince" voters to go for her.

Trudeau should have offered to blow Trump instead. It would have been less embarrassing for him.
Makes sense, he was already a fluffer for his wife's boyfriends for years.

Also, a hilarious ending for the Mexican PM would be for the cartels turning on her after they realize she's more Jewish then she is Mexican and serves her globohomo masters above all.

"But, but, you stupid brown peasants don't know what's good for you!"

*Gets turned into a salad*

Not sure how much that would've effected it, Morena (National Regeneration Movement) seems really strong in Mexico right now for some reason. Wouldn't be surprised if has to do with organized crime though.

These are the results in 2012 before Morena was a political party.

These are the 2018 results when Andrés Manuel "Hugs Not Bullets" López Obrador won.

I feel like one funny potential consequence of the dispute with Canada is I could see them clamping down hard on any and all land transportation heading to Alaska so things will get more expensive in that bitch Murkowski's state. Whether this was intended by Trump or not, it's funny. Maybe they'll finally try to get someone different and get rid of that rank choice voting bullshit.

Why does he Capitalize random Words

Does it have to do with him being the Chrischan of Presidents?
Probably but it could also be away for people to read what he's saying instead of just glancing at it. Kind of like a British accent makes Americans listen more closely, even though for the most part it's easy for us to understand, depending on the accent. It's different enough to cause the brain to slow down when reading.
Also consider that when you have agency, you can just do things. I do it for emphasis sometimes, but otherwise it's Midwit Bait. Like purposefully mixing up Your/You're and There/Their/They're.

It's always been kind of a telling thing about Mexico.

To make it worse, Mexico also has a fantastic climate for growing things all year round. On paper, they should be one of the most powerful economies in the world, if they were filled with Americans or even Europeans they would have been. Instead they're filled with Mexicans and as always they get ratfucked by a corrupt elite. Most of South and Central America's political problems stem from replacing a corrupt Spanish vice royalty with an equally corrupt local elite. When they get less corruption they turn into Chile and actually see serious economic development. Then they elected socialist morons who drive everything into the ground to line their own pockets.

Brazil is similar, but they're cursed with the failed eugenics project the Portuguese attempted. They thought enough race mixing would elevate the locals, which I think just fucked the actual Portuguese over in the long run. It only works if the next generation is more White than the last, not less.

"Canada could deal a lot of damage to the US by imposing export tariffs on oil and electricity".

Realistic or not?
Probably realistic to a point but the real question is which country can absorb more damage for longer. I don't think it would be Canada by a long shot and it could also be a double edged sword. Yes, you can do a lot of damage to the US at the expense of even more damage to your own country. Is a phyyric victory worth it to Canada? We're going to see

. She achieved the highest vote percentage of any candidate there since 1982.
thats because of laws that were put in after that election to keep the nation from becoming a one party state that were just repealed right before this election. its like going "Biden won the most votes of any democrat ever" like yeah, there's a pretty obvious reason for that.
They should be a mini-America. An economic powerhouse.

Instead, they're a borderline failed state.
well like i said, its all focused on the north, its hard to be a south africa type where 10% drag the rest of the useless fucks into being a superpower when the 90% are really good at killing people. Say what you will about the niggers, they have nothing on the cartels, there's a reason blacks ran for the hills (literally) the second the spics came to compton and inglewood.

if you look into their electoral history its the same thing, the northern states vote conservative and get outweighed by everyone else voting liberal.

"Canada could deal a lot of damage to the US by imposing export tariffs on oil and electricity".

Realistic or not?
Electricity - maybe, at least in the short term. However our imports have been going down on that front, and I believe Canada imports nearly as much from us...
Oil - not really? It'd hurt some companies badly, but we're not using their oil, just processing it into final products for sale because they don't/won't/can't.

The FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has repealed the previous FCC decision that allowed tenants to choice their own ISP instead of having the landowners choice it for them.

The previous proposal prevented bulk billing, where a landowner would bundle an ISP for the tenant without allowing them to change it.

Most of the time the tenant would be overcharged as the landowner would be bribed to by the ISP company.

Chairman Carr Stops Costly Regulatory Overreach FCC Ends Consideration of Biden-Era ‘Bulk Billing’ Proposal:

“During the Biden-Harris Administration, FCC leadership put forward a ‘bulk billing’ proposal that could have raised the price of Internet service for Americans living in apartments by as much as 50 percent. This regulatory overreach from Washington would have hit families right in their pocketbooks at a time when they were already hurting from the last Administration’s inflationary policies.

“There is a lot of work ahead to reverse the last Administration’s costly regulatory overreach. I am glad to take a step in the right direction by ending the FCC’s consideration of a Biden-era plan that would have artificially raised the cost of Internet service.”

Brendan Carr says he is reversing government overeach...with more government overreach. Genius.

Isn’t canadas socialized medicine system and things like grocery prices and welfare state system already feeling the burn due to mismanagement and that’s without tariffs. If trump fucks them over economically, that’s gonna crumble fast
