Eh, he is not making anyone upset, he is just trying to stamp his dick around and pay lip service towards the regular vtuber twitch crowd that disavows and tut tuts around the pre western vtuber culture of being more anonymous and often never flesh-posting on main.

There is a spergy culture war around Twitch vtubers, often popular ones, and fans of Japanese or pre western boom (round 2021) Vtubers who usually never cared about politics and the creators didnt either, while the current new crowd often clamor for politics and some spergfight on twitter about them. What he posted is just empty "so stunning and brave" plattitudes to appeal to that crowd and shit on the filthy chuds who want apolitical men with voice changers sperging at FOTMs on stream

You can tell he purposefully does it because when he inevitably gets backlash because he always does, he shrivels up like a raisin and gives a meek "I-I'm so sowwy guys I'm just a smol marshmallow I d-dunno what I'm talking about uwu" and when people respond positively, he puts his tiny prick on the table and doses up on the smell of his own farts.

His concerns about his family must not really be there if he can't bring himself to leave the internet and stop being an attention seeking piece of shit who goes around to other spaces like a fucking tourist and dictate how the people in those spaces should conduct themselves whilst having 0 knowledge of those spaces and 0 investment in them. He just wants to tout himself as some paragon of virtue up on his high horse. He knows that what he does draws bad attention to himself, but he does it anyway because he also wants to present himself as this poor martyr who endures bullying when he's just trying to be a chill little guy.

Take his stupid I like girls video. He got so much flak for it (flak that he himself started because he crashed out on some rando who made a joke about him sounding super gay when talking about liking girls), but he refuses to let it go and makes that singular video the sum total of his entire existence. He claims he doesn't only want to be known for that, yet has no problem riding on it's coattails into the fucking ground. Then when people clown him for it, he wants to slide into DMs and cry about it when the obvious answer to all his problems is for him to just keep his fucking mouth shut and fuck off. But again, he doesn't want to do that because he wants the attention and engagement.

You can change the colours of your chocobo at a chocobo stable and grow vegetables. Probably something else I've forgotten.

I think the single only thing you can do in your house that you can't anywhere else is gardening. Everything else is just minor convenience like having certain npc services all in your house instead of having to search for them in the cities.

You can change your chocobo's colors in a stable but you can also do that in apartments and your FC's house so it's not exclusive to personal houses.

If you're deciding if you should buy a house, you should first ask yourself if you're comfortable with permanently paying the sub fee and never being able to unsub if you want to keep your house.

Maybe you just don't want a bunch of retards around you, nor do you want to be spammed with /tells or /shouts about people advertising their ERP and gambling nightclubs or Free Companies. Maybe you'd also like to have all of your basic maintenance things (retainers, repairs – for those of you who don't level crafters – basic mat vendors, and the aesthetician) all in one convenient place that you can also get very autistic about designing the look and sound of to your tastes.

If you get an FC house by creating a shell FC on alts, yes, it can be a steady stream of gil.

Beyond that, not really. The only other perk I'd say for having a house is convenient access to retainers/market board without having to set foot in Limsa or wherever. Most plots are located near a MB and virtually all wards are deserted. There is gardening and chocobo stables, but I'd argue they're both negligible perks.

Also, if you enjoy the design element it can be fun. Although if you do go down that route, third party tools are almost mandatory so you don't lose your fucking mind. You can do a lot of fun shit with 'just' the in-game UI but addons make it a lot easier.

I mean fair enough, houses are absolutely for convenience. But if you just want to chill away from crowds just get an apartment, or go to the inn. Or just go to any of the settlements outside of cities where you'll barely see anyone.

I personally like hanging out in Namai. The little rooftop garden in Yedhlimad would be good if it didn't have the depressing Endwalker music.

It's honestly more fun than the reveal made it look. I'm not much of a MagDPS player, but I can see myself sticking to it for a while. Only thing is, people nail it on the head when they say it's overloaded as fuck. It literally does EVERYTHING. But that aside, it's worth learning even if you only do the actual job quests.
