Sorry that your e-daddy is nothing but a fraudulent rug merchant. I don't have any proof considering this happened years ago on an account I no longer have access to but I'll add something else that I just remembered and should clear up a few things. At his absolute most desperate point he tried to sell me a "rug" that he claimed was 18th century from Tarbiz. It was Barney purple, full of rips and I'm almost positive it was nothing more than a heavily used king size bed sheet. He kept talking about how rare and valuable it was and he was clearly lying. If I ever run into him after a show I'll be sure to ask him about his rare vintage rug he called "Big Purple."

Q: Curious what the impact of the style of WP 1 was, or older MDE stuff in general was. Were you intentional about capturing some of that style or more doing your own thing w/ the material.
A: AL: I think naturally things bleed over as you watch and consume content, so there are some callbacks and styles to the original as well as other works that subconsciously happen when making any project. When taking on Extreme Peace, I wanted to bring in some new technologies that have developed in the last 10 years that weren’t available/ accessible during the first season, as well as some old classics. Without giving too much away, we experimented with 360 cams, Super8, 16mm and drones to name a few.
Q: How do you deal with critics/fans that wanna say “it’s been forever since the last WP, it’s not gonna be the same”?
A: AL: We don’t read into anything or look into comments. Our focus has been delivering the best product we can and fulfilling this mission. Naturally it won’t be the same as World Peace. Times change, people grow, technologies evolve. My drive was delivering for the crew that believed in this project and allowing this trio to shine like they always have.
Q: Will there be any continuing bits / characters that pick up where the old show left off or is it going to be all-new content?
A: AS: Maybe 2 or 3, not many though. It’s brand new stuff :^)

Q: Can you reveal some of the bands/artists that you collaborated with for this season? What is the general vibe of the soundtrack?
A: AS: The vibe fluctuates between
AL: Ones confirmed via social media are BONES & RiFF RAFF… 5 total acts and they pair nicely with their closing sketch.
Q: What’s the average sketch runtime gonna be?
A: AS: I don’t think there’s an average sketch run time per se, they’re as long as they feel they should be. The sketch decides it’s own length.
AL: Sketch times vary as some span multiple parts, but in general, there are 6 episodes at about 30 minutes a piece.
Additional info summarized: as they've said before they're planning to do another season after this, the release should be early this year, and they're releasing the show in "two seperate packages, one which you'll own forever" - whatever that means, exactly..
Edit to add more: They tried getting Mickey Rourke but failed, maybe for WP3 (prob not?), otherwise they got most of the actors they wanted. There will be merch. There's hours of BTS / extra sketch footage which may be released (I recall there was hours of extra footage for each WP1 sketch too and Sam was bummed they were unable to access/release any of it, legally). There will be a premiere (no details), there's no foreseeable plan for a "collectors set" or anything to that effect

Am I an idiot or is the latest PGL not on Gumroad and just on mge.tv? I hope this isn’t the way they’re going forward because they don’t seem to have an RSS feed or anything for episodes and it seems like you can’t even download it so it’s wicked hard to listen to an episode in chunks in your truck without playing the web-based player thing.

With Gumroad, you can at least use gumcast to make an RSS feed that works in podcast players

With Gumroad, you can at least use gumcast to make an RSS feed that works in podcast players

You have to pay an additional monthly fee to be able to download PGL. I think it's something like $49.99 a month, which is less than a video game if you think about it.

its probally coming out sooner or later (i would guess later this year tbh), but i really , really, doubt it will be good or at least worth the hype.
a good part of what made S1 so good was the director, now its just the fishtank ad guy, meh

On top of the new mde.tv and gumroad changes this was probably the lowest effort podcast yet, honestly just have Chris and Nick do it at this point at least they have some sort of chemistry together, Sam just sits on his phone and realizes hes podcasting after 60 minutes so he has to do some super low effort bit about the military larp shit but he cant even seem to commit to the bit. I have no idea which interview or panel this clip was in but there was a point around the boxing arc when he was being asked about something and he mentioned having a girlfriend, maybe a slip up or on purpose idk but no real proof of time connections between these things. I don't really think Sam can have kids. One of the images on page 3 and another screenshot I can't relocate immediately mention him having chlamydia that he didn't get checked, and in this video he implies that it made him sterile

He's also been insistent on those recent vids that having a wife and children mean you have it set in life. I sort of think that he got into hormones and developed white replacement paranoia when he caught something that made him impotent. Channing's letters have really gross details about ejaculation failure, but he's complained on PGL about not being able to get "as hard" anymore, so I guess it wasn't ever even private.

Its ironic that the character in Lena Dunham's show that is clearly based on early 2000s phone videos/ moms house Sam and even acknowledged by Sam himself ended up having a character arc that is a hell of a lot less depressing than his real life. I am rewatching the show and its pretty ridiculous how closely they curbed his mannerisms, look, and communication style. But even so, the character of Adam is a lovable weirdo who is often the unlikely straight man in the scene.
