I think the main problem that poisons the whole foreign aid sector is that for every good thing like what you did there are dozens who misapropriate money to spread the gay in poland or actually de-stabilize countries like Pakistan by funding "opposition" groups like the ones in Syria.
There is a 90% chance that when some pseudo-commies riot in some place on this planet that they were funded by USAID or NGOs funded by USAID.
I am afraid that people like you are merely tolerated/used as a coverup for the nasty shit the 3-letter-goons and co. are doing in the background.

The complete lack of transparency and irresponsible abuse of funds is just inacceptable as it just does more harm than it helps.
If they ever bring this back then there needs to be an openly viewable list that includes every recipient and amount spend.
The entire financial records of the orgs receiving money has to be public and openly viewable by the public.

Wes Moore. Governor of Maryland. Rhodes scholar, veteran. At this point I think it's less about someone's positive qualities and more about who has plot armor.

You can't call him stupid because he graduated from Oxford. You can't call him anti-American because he served in Afghanistan. You can't call him anti-business because he worked at Deutsche Bank and used to be on the board of Under Armour. You can't make fun of his wife because she has MS. Or, rather, you can, but you will look like an asshole, and that becomes a problem long term.

I don't have an issue with government contracts that are actually accomplishing useful, cool things. It's bloated make-work shit like we give Boeing and "pregnant persons" researchers.

Its unclear if Newsome will continue to be politically successful after the wildfire issue, Trump has almost full control of the Federal aid that, it cannot be overstated, is 1000% necessary to rebuild just the Pacific Palisades and Altadena witch, politically, he wont survive not doing there is simply to much financial and political capotiol within those zip codes to ignore them or silence their bitching.

So its honestly an interesting dilemma, Trump could, in theory, politcally bury his partys most likely political opponent but its only if he is also willing to make tens of thousands of entirley innocent people suffer the pain and indignity of being denied the required reasources to rebuild their communites and homes.

The truly brain broke will immediately jump to the "FUCK the Californians, can we burn down more?" like the only people affected were your politcal opponents or people you hate and not a single hard working plumber or lineman or firefighters house or belongings were damaged. Surley it was the fault of every single one of the nearly 40 million residents for not moving to a more "based" state to immediatly be called a hated transplant in addtion to there overt and daily approval of all the Unapartys actions and deeds.

Lots of good people lost EVRYTHING and the insurance companies are fornight dancing on the ashes, I know no one did but if you ask me its far more important that or amazing, divinley saved, president focus on saving and helping as many people as possible and let what comes next, come.
