If that's the case then a month passes, Trump moves forward with the tariffs and everything gets worse for Mexico. A lot of posters are forgetting there's incentive for the Mexicans to actually do their half of the work.
Mexicans are lazy workers when left to their own. If you just ask them to do something they’ll take three siestas. Hit them with a whip and they’ll get off their asses.

But why in the ever living fuck are we paying for gender education in Africa, aid to countries like Pakistan, supporting "democracy" in countries that don't give us anything in return - all of which is funneled through a fucking money-laundering tier pipeline of NGOs and various organizations and siphoned off for several rounds of admin costs anyways?
Much of that shit I am happy to get rid of. The DEI programs are nothing but a waste. Aid ought to align with other American foreign policy objectives.

We do work to stabilize other countries because that stability benefits us. A Pakistan that isn’t collapsing means less of a chance that someone launches a nuke into India. Helping local communities recognize their voting rights means a more engaged community willing to explore nonviolent solutions to political problems.

When it comes to the NGOs, there will always been someone trying to siphon off government funds, but having worked in the aid industry, I can tell you that the vast majority of expenses go into programmatic operations. My budgets were always geared towards doing activities and finding ways to do more with what we had. Administrative costs were a fraction, and we were all taking lower salaries than we would get in the private sector.

The best thing about Trump 2.0 is that as much as the liberal rags seethe, they can’t pretend it’s not working. The people know that Trump’s strategy is effective and that he has gotten a lot of shit done.
Liberals are upset because this is how democracy works and, deep down, they're all fascists.

permit me to not believe a single word you say, leeche

The unexplored problem here is that nearly every person who is advocating to burn things down is considerably more retarded and corrupt than the corrupt retards who are already there.

Here's a16z's Justine Moore on DOGE:

Scratch the surface of her AI portfolio, though, and it's federal contracts all the way down.

You literally cannot get out of the "a"s without finding billions in waste.

Hypocrisy and corruption so cartoonishly stupid it posts about it live on X. Dumber than a gallon of paint.

At this point, I couldn't care less about due process or treating people with 'dignity' or anything like that. There needs to be ICE teams going door to door and detaining anyone that can't be identified as a citizen. The military needs to be getting involved in these protests and arresting anyone flying a foreign flag. It should be considered treason to employ or assist illegals. I highly doubt this administration will do these things but at least the chance is higher now than ever before. This needs to happen in the next decade or it's unironically over. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if there's 75+ million illegals in the country. Every single one of them needs to leave.
If they were genuinely fleeing from some mass atrocity, I could sympathize more, but that is not the case. These people hate America and just want to be maggots feasting on its rotting corpse. The fact that boomers allowed this to happen is a crime against the country of the highest order.
The birthright citizenship will be the thing that stops the bleeding. It doesn't matter if ice goes door to door as long as brownies keep breeding like cockroaches while keeping the anti-american sentiment they do now.

He's screaming about what, exactly? Some spics getting sent back home, where avocados grow in their backyard? He should be happy for the people being deported.

For some juxtaposition, when J6ers were kept as political prisoners they were singing the national anthem (Tim Caine was mad about Kash Patel sharing the recording of that, btw). No screaming fits, no performative videos on TikTok or Instagram.

Is it far too early to ask who the Dems could possibly run in 2028? The leadership apparatus of the Democrats seems to prevent any unvetted outsiders from rising to the top, so I can't really name anyone of note. If Trump were to die right now, you've got Vance, DeSantis, Rubio, Cruz, etcetera (Their capabilities and loyalty to America none withstanding) but who can you even name from the Democrats? I'm not overly familiar with the Democrats on a whole admittedly, but I was still able to pull some Republican names, but cannot do so for the Dems. Maybe Buttgieg? Sanders?

There has to be some kind of domestic pressure. Like, if you’re a regular, non-connected Mexican and the cartel is running around your town killing random people, and your bitch of a president would rather see your shitty factory tank than do something about them
Looking it into a bit more there could be a issue here: That Mexican gov is giving up a smaller (but still relatively big) cartel to take out computation and heat for the bigger guys. We will have to see after a month goes by.

Let's get rid of Hart/Cellar while we're at it.
It was promised it wouldn't change the Demographics.
Well they lied.
And for the doomers who say you cannot reverse it.
Oh yes, anything is possible.

Gavin Newsom. Prior to Kamala's coronation, he was considered the frontrunner. He's governor of California, Pelosi's nephew, and has some powerful connections. You can bet he'll claim everything Trump's doing for California for himself.

AOC will be 38 in 2028. I guess they could run her.
