Oh my lord.... I'm honestly wondering if Robyn has some sort of psychosis going on, because how can she slap a soundtrack on and upload a video like this thinking it's cute or heartwarming? Robyn's tried to run cover for this by claiming the whole "we do parties BIG!" yet Luna got a lot shorter birthday shout-out last year when she turned 5, which is a more appropriate age to have a birthday week for. Almost like Robyn knows something we don't...

I would not have let this go on. I would have had her in a real hospice program. Robyn is prolonging the inevitable for no real reason other than pure selfishness. It’s the goblin girls all over again (Hartley girls). Now, the exception is Gwen didn’t directly cause their problems but she knowingly got pregnant after finding out she could pass on the same genetic issue that happened the first time around.

What point is there? Luna and the Hartley girls never really had a life. Kids their age are going on field trips, learning about the world, developing friendships and having fun. Potatoes are still potatoes even if you dress them up and name them. The only difference is that Robyn caused Luna’s brain injury whereas Gwen had a genetic disorder at play and ignored all doctors advice or warnings that it could happen more than once.

And look, I am caring. I have feelings, I am a parent too but I would never bring a potato baby into the world because that just creates more suffering. Sometimes, the kindest thing to do is to terminate. It sounds harsh, I know but it’s also true. This isn’t like, a minor defect or slight ASD. All three girls had/have catastrophic injuries or catastrophic disorders.

If I had a kid like Luna that was caused by birth complications, she would ha e been given a ton of pain meds (she can't register now but most of us think she could for the first 4 months) and left her on her belly, claiming "SIDs" when she enevitably suffocated. It was cruel to let her live past a month when the full complications reared their ugly head. First week or so, I get. She looked sorta normal, but fuck man.

I think some of you guys are overestimating CPS. Their main concerns are as follows:

1. Are the children being beaten or sexually abused? In this case, no.

2. Are the children being fed daily or underweight? In this case, the two boys are fed daily and don't seem to be severely underweight.

3. Is the home filled with trash, animal feces, mold, or used syringes? In this case, no.

4. Are the children reasonably clean? Do they own adequate clothing and shoes for their environment? In this case, Yes.

That's it. CPS worker snaps her folder shut and leaves. Keep in mind, they're going to give Robyn a few more breaks regarding lack of attention/mild neglect regarding the two boys, considering that she has a severely disabled, high maintenance child. They're also not going to complain too much about Robyn's poor treatment of Luna, because we all know any treatment of Luna is fruitless and will result in the same outcome in the long run. Robyn would get in more trouble for smothering Luna with a pillow than she will for the combination of useless pseudoscience treatments and neglect that Robyn is using to "treat" Luna now.

Hopefully Robyn will give up on homeschooling, and Atlas' public school will look into his speech, hearing, and vision. That's more their purview anyway, discovering developmental problems in otherwise healthy children and treating them. Maybe Atlas is just camera-shy and clams up because Mama has warned him against making too much noise and messing up her CONSTANT videos, so we only hear him talk when he's distracted from the fact that Robyn is making a video. Or maybe something more significant is wrong with him, we don't know. I think there's still a chance that he's a perfectly normal child that's stuck in an awful situation.

I agree with you here, and this is pretty much what I meant with my original comment RE schools being full of mandated reporters. No CPS in the country is removing those kids from that home (and at this point they shouldn’t), but a building full of trained adults would immediately pick up on whatever IS actually going on with Atlas and be able to get the poor kid some real help in regards to speech/language development if he needs it. I also think it would be good for the future, when Luna finally does pass. That’s when I could see Robyn snapping and going full Mommy Dearest on her boys.

I often think of Buna's wrists and hands, and how basic it is to prevent or at least mitigate such a thing. It reminds me how shoddy her so called "therapists" are. Here's an exerpt from a medical article.

This can best be done with the guidance of a qualified physical or occupational therapist. The sooner physical therapy is introduced into the child’s routine, the better because once joint contracture has taken place, it cannot be stretched or exercised away.

All physical therapy for cerebral palsy should include activities and education aimed at improving flexibility, strength, mobility, and function. Those diagnosed with cerebral palsy suffer from increased muscle tone (in the correct use of the term, muscle tone is an unconscious, low-level muscle contraction while the body is supposedly at rest). Tight muscles hold highly negative effects for those with CP.

A physical therapist can also work with a client on “positioning” (placing the body in a specific position to attain long stretches) or suggest adaptive equipment. A good physical therapist will teach the caregiver how to continue exercising, stretching and positioning at home.

Again, not a doc, just my observations. The shoulders are pretty scrunched so it makes me think the contractures make her shoulder blades wing out, or stick out. Her lungs are massive for her size, lungs stick out past the ribs by an inch or 2. I wonder if she has enlargement of any organs? The heart must be pretty strained. Her head may not be full of blood but I bet those vessels are as tight as a rubber band. Her other arm looks fairly normal to me.
The biggest things that stick out now that I look is the chest, the arm and the head. Aside from her freakishly tiny body, of course.

Her bones aren't fused yet so that would change a couple things. I'm only well versed in adult skeletal identification unfortunately so my knowledge is limited.

I know of a woman online who had her hand/wrist bent into a similar way to Luna's currently (luna may be worse than she was). She had surgery in an attempt to straighten out her wrist and it worked to an extent, she can't properly straighten it out because her bones have been in that position for such a long time. Now I don't know if that's Luna's case but it wouldn't surprise me either. Her wrists have only gotten especially bad over the last few months, and entirely preventable.

Not sure if it's due to a personal mental condition either, but I'm overly bothered by the constant TV in basically every room of their house. (Each bedroom has a TV that's always on, too, right?)

The house is cluttered with stuff and the sound environment is cluttered with noise because Goblyn's brains are also cluttered.
