One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

You must really hate Zeus. What a way to mark 500 pages.
I really do, I hate that Nami is now going to be largely reliant on him instead of using her skills with weather like she did against Kalifa

Beyond that he is just a fucking Simp, The Joke is kind of Funny with Sanji because he balances it with proper badass moments and there is a reason for it. Zeus is just a fucking worthless character and shouldn't have gone past when Hera ate him.

Zeus is literally a lightning cloud. She is very much using weather in combat. Zeus also balances his simp momrnts.

But agreed, Zeus really should not have survived. If for no other reason than it confirms Big Mom is alive or Oda is very forgetful.

Zeus is not a lightning cloud anymore. His new body is the Clima-Tact. He also lacks Nami's extensive knowledge on weather which means she will have to call the shots and he has to try to enhance what she is doing even though he might not understand. A living weapon can be a detriment if you do not know how to wield it. It has a steeper learning curve as it needs teamwork as well as weapon handling. There is room for improvement.

A thing that she could summon already without some whiny bitch.

No, No he really doesn't. The only reason he is around is because he likes to have Nami's balls in his mouth.

Big Mom is alive or Oda is very forgetful.
Or the Soul fruit doesn't work like that, now if we look at Totto land and all the rest of the shit Mom Has Animated is still alive that just means whatever Soul Energy she gives out takes from her own lifespan upfront.

It's not like The Giant Pica Statue fell apart after Zoro yeeted his ass out of it.

So I'm convinced Gunko is actually the one who killed Cobra.

Now this would suggest that perhaps the God's Knights may also know who Imu is, but this honestly makes sense to me because one: why wouldn't Imu have bodyguards, and two: I don't see Imu willingly getting his hands dirty. He can order someone's execution, for sure, but as king, he wouldn't be the one doing the killing.

Also the arrow the first time around came from Cobra's left. I dunno how far the arrows can extend away from Gunko, especially since it looks like she can extend them from either her shadow or out of the ground, but Imu was really far away and there were multiple pillars in the room for someone to hide behind. And the fact the Elders didn't do it themselves even as they're transforming.

I'd be shocked if no one else has come to this conclusion either, it was something I was thinking about since her powers were first revealed two chapters ago.

I’d see everything checks out. Maybe she’s that one chick who ran to Imu when Luffy released Joy Boy’s Haki bomb.

Maybe the God’s Knights are the same as the Gorosei: folks who answer to Imu in exchange for being some force for the public, in this case “acting as judge, jury, and executioner of the celestial dragons”.

Now we wait to be proven wrong when Oda does the lore dump for Imu in 2029.

As much as I hate Nami's over reliance on Zeus as well...in fairness, she had long since been a lightning spammer before getting him. Since the timeskip I think she used one weather technique that wasn't just zapping her opponent with a lightning bolt, and that was using a wind blast as a boost during Punk Hazard. Nami was never gonna go utilize her Clima-Tact in a different way, Zeus just made her reliance on that one attack stronger.

Though the autist in me dislikes saying Nami is "strong" because of Zeus. He's strong, she just feeds him.

Interesting spoilers for 1139; granted it's still early and could possibly be wrong.

She used Heat Egg against Monet in Punk Hazard. Though, I agree that she overuses lightning when she has other options. Unless the other attacks are not as strong as her lightning attacks. Then again, Sanji, Zoro and Franky also have access to fire (and light in the case of Franky), Jimbe has water and Brook has ice. Maybe she is doing what others cannot. I would love for her to blast flames and cold too but I understand why she might not.

I wish Nami could make herself another whirlwind or tornado again like she beat Miss Doublefinger with. The Clima-Tact's supposed to mimic weather phenomenon, not just be a lightning spammer.

I get that but I was hoping for it not be a 1:1 across the whole crew.
Roger’s journey was also an order of magnitude longer than Luffy’s by this point. Frankly, the Strawhats being a copy of the Roger pirates would be more in line with the series’ early days than anything.
