Another part of the deal too is that the US has apparently said they'll help El Salvador begin building their own nuclear plants for energy independence. Very interesting, I figured Bukele and Trump would get along fairly well given that Bukele was one of the first leaders to call out the US government for harassing Trump after he was out of office.

Bukele also said they'd imprison Bob Menendez for the US, he was the New Jersey senator recently convicted of taking money under the table from Egypt

Interesting thing about Menendez is he said that he hopes Trump cleans up the system, I'm guessing he's angling for a pardon potentially at the end of Trump's term
