I am claiming an I CALLED IT from 7 months ago in the previous USPG thread. Back when Trump said El Salvador was lowering their crime because their criminals were coming across the US border, and some people were trying to manufacture drama between him and Bukele:

In the actual speech, Trump sounded like he approved of Bukele, he just didn't like criminals fleeing his effective crackdown to infiltrate the weak US border. I don't think he'll start any beef, if he actually wins and secures the southern border, the problem goes away.

The guy gets along with Kim Jong Un, President Xi, Bibi, and any random rapper who wears his hat. I 100% expect the whole thing to be quashed with a single phone call, and they'll be best friends in the next photo op. Especially because Bukele wisely decided not to take offense and snap back over nothing.

All I'm going to say is that the federal government is notably disengaged with violent left-wing groups compared to violent right-wing groups. Less intelligence, fewer informants, and less attention overall. It's not for nothing: most of the recent domestic terrorist attacks have been right-wing (Oklahoma City bombing, synagogue shooting). However, the end result is that Luigi copycats might be harder to catch before they attack. Democrats are politically screwed in this event because their only option is to reverse their previous anti-police and faux revolutionary positions (thus infuriating their LARPing base) or go mask off and get arrested by Trump's DoJ for treason.

I think the Democrats have been quiet vis-a-vis Trump lately because there were too many of their own celebrating Luigi. All it takes is one major incident and the Democrats are politically screwed. The Democrats got away with the Congressional baseball shooting but I doubt they will again. If it turns out to be a former disgruntled fed, it's even worse. Democrats are telling these bureaucrats to resist so, if they get violent, it's now incitement.
