This is my thought as well. Did I agree with everything he did? No. Did he provide me some entertainment? Yes. He admitted himself he was some kind of sociopath. Is it fortunate that he at least took out the bulk of his sociopathic tendencies on a retarded creature that is a legitimate threat to children online? Yes. Am I going to tap dance on his grave? No. Am I going to treat him as a hero? No.
