I mean, it's disingenious from the get go, we didn't choose Elon but we chose the guy who chose Elon, so what's the problem, exactly?
They're also upset at Elon pushing to fire unelected people and in the case of USAID in an agency established by an executive order so not even built up by Congress, the elected officials. It's completely performative, they're mad that Elon picked the other side and is fucking up things they see as untouchable.

I really don't get the "Nobody elected Elon Musk" thing because like ??? We already knew that ??? He was never on the ballot ??? He bends the knee to Trump ??? Trump is clearly in charge ???

It's be like going "Nobody elected Nancy Pelosi" or "Nobody elected Pete Buttegieg" or "Nobody elected AOC"

I feel like if I ever try to follow liberal logic I'm going to end up in an insane asylum.
No fool. If you're President your only approved advisors are the usual assortment of career DC cocksuckers and faggots.

That's what they really mean.

It sounds like their aim now is to concoct a schizo conspiracy theory that Elon Musk is the actual president right now while Trump is the puppet. Basically their half assed leftoid version of "Obama or Kamala are the real president". They can't be original worth a shit.
Who was the President for the last four fucking years? Nobody believes Biden was in charge so wtf is the problem now?

Are you saying there's a small chance tankies will be forced to dig their own graves at gunpoint? 👀
If there's a chance at all I hope it really is a small one, civil wars are always way too bloody. I can genuinely see a demoralized nation full of disenfranchised people on both sides of the political aisle like the UK being where it kicks off first, too.

It's beautiful in a way. The kind of decades long grift that is USAID works best when nobody has ever heard of it. It's undefendable and all of them know it. So they have a hard time sticking out their necks to defend it even though they really want to. They have to resort to totally unhinged bullshit because nothing about USAID puts it in a good light.

Knowing how much demmies not so secretly enjoy obeying authority while declaring they fight the power, and how cowardly they are when actual stakes happen. They would probably fold with the canadian quickness the moment doors start being knocked and reddit/bluesky screen names are read aloud.

I think the best thing that could happen is no fighting whatsoever and the GOP just does shit unopposed while the other side just screeches endlessly.

They really, REALLY want their martyr moment or their viral moment where le heckin' good boi liberals are running away from the mean Nazi-controlled police to the point where these old fucks are literally saying "We are at war!" or "Get out and fight!". They are egging what's left of their voterbase to commit crimes.

It's going to be funnier in the long run for them to realize that nobody gives a shit, no one is going to genocide them and that Trump managed to have a good presidency.

The media is playing a mott and baile with USAID.

The highlight vaccinations programs but don't mention transgender comic books or operas:

Yes, the amount are a small portion of the budget but the fact such garage gets through calls for a stand down and review.

DOGE is taking flak because it is over the target.

The "Elon Musk is an unelected evil Nazi running our government!" is a moot point when the overwhelming majority of federal workers are unelected as well.
It's not like Trump can appoint millions of federal workers (and the thousands of high level employees) to run everything all by himself. Where have these hypocrites been the last few decades when thousands of unelected bureaucrats have been making their own bullshit decisions by themselves?
