The game looks mid. Controversy aside, it doesn't look too much different than the first game but the writing is absolutely atrocious. The long tutorial will filter out a lot of people, no game should take this fucking long to get to the real deal. As I said already, the game is still too complicated for normalfags, but the main audience already got burned by the controversy. I don't see this selling too well.
Well, we still got our little competition going on. I think we can easily say that this is better than Veilguard simply on the account that this is a video game, not a therapy session(altho that might change later depending on how bad the writing gets). The gameplay is largely the same thing as the first game so it's fine on that front, where as Veilguard was just straight up dreadful and boring. This leaves Avowed, which is unlikely to be more successful or a better game than this, but it would still be funny if it was. Moreover, unless it has some Baldur's Gate 3 tier degeneracy the only thing you really need to mod out of it are the pronouns, which seem easy to do. KCD2's problems are too big to mod out.

Not a good time to be an RPG fan, fellas. This is all mediocre slop, I expected better out of all three. This is why keeping backlogs is important.

For now they are all I can remember. I didn't include franchise more than 2 games like Far Cry, Dead Rising because it will get LONGER but you get the point. The best thing you could do is just quit fanboying and sucking off for western developers that get too popular quickly unless they are outwardly anti-woke or something like Factorio dev. I don't think I never paid full price for any western games except Factorio. I used to be pretty fond of Bioware before they made Mass Effect but I saw the big dumpster fiasco with Mass Effect 3 ending, since then I couldn't really trust most western developers.
