Erin here so fomented with rage he can't grammar.

Erin thinks the executive order says transgender people are an 'anti-American ideology'. No: Transgender ideology is an 'anti-American' ideology. Erin blatantly misreads parts of the order to this effect more than once.

He is also aghast that the order forbids social transition being enabled by schools and teachers. He simply describes what social transition is and thinks that's enough to convince us it shouldn't be banned. He is taking for granted that we too cannot fail to be horrified by such fascism as banning social transition in schools.

Erin, social transition of children is the fascism. It forces every single student in the school--every single one--to kowtow to the fantasies of a handful of confused children and their enablers. Social transition, along with medical transition, is one of the support pillars that will fell the temple of Trans.

When they stood him among the pillars, 26Samson said to the servant who held his hand, “Put me where I can feel the pillars that support the temple, so that I may lean against them.” 27Now the temple was crowded with men and women; all the rulers of the Philistines were there, and on the roof were about three thousand men and women watching Samson perform. 28Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, 30Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.

I like this very much, I hope someone manufactures them and soon crazy protests start looking more like medieval jousting fields. The day I see the flag of Palestine and some kind of furry flag on the same mast I may have a quick cry of joy.

Section 3: Trump will use the same powers he has used to line by line defund other things he doesn't like, to defund schools that allow trans participation in sports - a tyrannical and unprecedented coup of power that will continue here.
He also will launch title IX investigations on schools.
Funny how, ten years or so ago when sports were all single-sex, everybody was entirely oblivious to this "tyranny" and thought it was completely normal. Ffs.
Look what we have here. Halfway down the replies to the thread:
lizdongone.png

they're so fixated on such a very small percentage of people. they're the ones doing "identity politics". we just want to exist.
And no-one's stopping you from "existing," Elliott. The EO stops you from demanding inclusion on women's sporting teams. Completely fucking different.

We've been blessed with yet another fucking "tracker" (a coloured map):
caraballo.png

(link to this important tool of "legislative analysis"). If you scroll down, it includes Tony's "Legislative Risk Map," which is where I suspect the data comes from in the first place.

If Tony hadn't jumped ship and pissed off to BlueSky, he'd know that his beloved go-to citation for deboonking the Cass Review (that Yale Law School website he was always linking to) has been ripped to shreds by an actually peer-reviewed paper: Critiques of the Cass Review: Fact-Checking the Peer-Reviewed and Grey Literature.
(bolded text is my formatting).
A new peer-reviewed article examining the criticisms of the Cass Review, just published. The authors found that the primary source of the criticism, a non-peer-reviewed paper published on the Yale Law School website, contains numerous inaccurate and misleading claims. Link👇/1
The authors of the new publication conclude: "The Cass Review’s careful, balanced investigations and judgments were a comprehensive, evidence-based response to the controversies in this pediatric clinical arena. Recently-published critiques of the Review have contained incorrect or inadequately contextualized claims. Because accurate information about medical interventions is essential to informed consent, it is important to correct errors in potentially influential publications." /3
This is the second peer-reviewed formidable defense of the Cass Review's validity. The first peer-reviewed analysis of misinformation directed at the Cass Review was published in the BMJ ADC, the official journal of UK Royal College of Paediatrics. /4 https://adc.bmj.com/content/early/2024/10/15/archdischild-2024-327994.info
The so-called "Yale" report continues to be cited by researchers unaware of the report's grave validity issues. The latest was an article in the prestigious NEJM, which incorrectly attributed the report to the Yale School of Medicine in the citations./5 https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJMp2413747
Rather than relying on the so-called Yale report, which has now been demonstrated to be deeply problematic by 2 peer-reviewed academic publications, researchers are best off reading the Cass Review for themselves and making their own unique arguments, which they are prepared to defend. /6
(archive of the thread)
Zero chance of Tony actually "reading the Cass Review for [himself]," I'm afraid.

Shortly after Trump won I wondered if Tony might not have voted for him. I know that might sound crazy, but here’s my reasoning:

Tony needs to stay relevant, he’s invested his entire identity, as well as a part of his body, into this LARP & this time around he is much more invested bc he has much more to lose. Had Kamala been elected, not much would change. Tony would still be able to report on shit, like he always has & he’d still be in a prison-gay relationship, without much distraction. But we know Tony, all he truly wants is to be seen as this super important authority figure who can rescue anyone having a bad trip & with a Trump win, Tony could center himself in this reality. A reality in which a “Trans Genocide” was actually happening.

Listen, I’m stoked we keep winning, but these EOs were a hard right turn & doesn’t every action have an equal & opposite reaction?

Once the dust settles a bit, I wonder if many of this delusional minority won’t realize that they actually got everything they ever wanted: Super Special Persecuted Minority status. Won’t they be able to use that against Trump, against the majority of people who couldn’t give a shit about, or who were sick of, Transgenders before they received this status? Might this not sway more people to their cause? Isn’t all of what’s happening now only serving to entrench identity politics even further, so as to keep us fighting amongst ourselves?

Idk. I’m reluctant to be too thrilled by all this, even tho I really want to be, bc I know real, lasting change doesn’t usually come so easily & the more I think about it, the more uneasy I become.

The AG letter does not say anything that Tony claims it does.

"BOSTON — Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell today led a coalition of 14 other attorneys general to reaffirm their commitment to protecting access to gender-affirming care in the face of the Trump Administration’s recent Executive Order. The coalition released the following statement:

“As state attorneys general, we stand firmly in support of healthcare policies that respect the dignity and rights of all people. Health care decisions should be made by patients, families, and doctors, not by a politician trying to use his power to restrict your freedoms. Gender-affirming care is essential, life-saving medical treatment that supports individuals in living as their authentic selves.

The Trump Administration’s recent Executive Order is wrong on the science and the law. Despite what the Trump Administration has suggested, there is no connection between “female genital mutilation” and gender-affirming care, and no federal law makes gender-affirming care unlawful. President Trump cannot change that by Executive Order.

Last week, attorneys general secured a critical win from a federal court that directed the federal government to resume funding that had been frozen by the Trump Administration. In response to the Court’s Order, the Department of Justice has sent a notice stating that “federal agencies cannot pause, freeze, impede, block, cancel, or terminate any awards or obligations on the basis of the OMB memo, or on the basis of the President’s recently issued Executive Orders.” This means that federal funding to institutions that provide gender-affirming care continues to be available, irrespective of President Trump’s recent Executive Order. If the federal administration takes additional action to impede this critical funding, we will not hesitate to take further legal action.

State attorneys general will continue to enforce state laws that provide access to gender-affirming care, in states where such enforcement authority exists, and we will challenge any unlawful effort by the Trump Administration to restrict access to it in our jurisdictions.”

Joining AG Campbell in issuing this statement are the attorneys general of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wisconsin."

Existing court precedent and the phrasing of Title IX (that it says "sex") already says that equal treatment of the sexes in university sports requires there be separate sporting opportunities for female people.

It's really more that Biden's EO reinterpreting that was illegal and not settled law and that Trump's EO is just setting things right, than vice versa.

Interesting idea, and I'm sure spiritually Tony definitely yearns for these sort of conflicts to sate his ego as a troon culture warrior.

But it really doesn't matter. Tony could vote for Trump all he wanted, but I'm pretty sure Maryland is a winner-take-all state regarding the electoral college and Maryland is super fucking blue. But even beyond just that, MoCo is the bluest of the blue in Maryland.

If he did throw his vote away for Trump down in MoCo, then he's in good company as I joined him in throwing my vote away for Trump up in Baltimore City.

Fun fact: "coup" is obviously of French origin, but in French the word just means something like "stroke" or "blow" or "strike." Only in English did the phrase coup d'état ("strike on the state") get shortened so that "coup" retains the coup d'état meaning.

Tony, by trying to frame the normal actions of a democratically elected president as a "coup," has ironically returned the word to its French meaning. It is a "coup of power," that is, a powerful blow by the man in charge. Which Trump is allowed to do, because he was voted in to act on these issues. Félicitations for your love of the French language, Tony!

I remember a long time ago in the thread sperging on him using a word English adapted from Latin in much the same way. I don't even remember the word or how long ago my post was, just that I did.

I mention it because it's funny how troons tend to pervert and bend language in so many ways, to try to make reality bend to what they want those words to mean, eh?

"Do not comply in advance" was an NPC meme that went around a while ago and now they've bounced it back and forth between each other so many times that it's constantly being referenced and rephrased.

The basic idea was that under an authoritarian system people shouldn't "comply" unless they have to, at the point of a gun or under threat of arrest or whatever. "Do not comply in advance" was telling people to not go along with authoritarians before that because it will make it harder to enforce the rules.

What the troons don't understand is that the hospitals are not complying out of some fear of jackbooted thugs will come and storm their offices soon. They have simply weighed things up and realized that it's not worth the trouble. The troons think they can wave some "don't comply in advance!" signs and the hospital admin will get a swell of courage that overcomes their fear of Trump and then they will be able to follow their principles (helping "trans kids").

But it's not fear that's stopping them, and their "principles" are more along the lines of "Is this going to lose us money in the long run? What's the PR on this? What do our lawyers say?" Some men in skirts are not going to change any of that, if anything they'll just convince everyone that the trans thing is terrible PR and optics.
It's funny because I refuse to comply in advance with their claims about gender (and much else) unless the threat of violence and they get all upset about it and threaten me with violence.

Those two things are not similar or analgous in any way Gap Tooth.

That was hardly one of the first acts of Nazi power, it happened months after Hitler took power. And the government didn't do it, the Party did because it was supposed to appear as something the people were doing themselves.

Zac was never kicked out of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Exactly, Tony is claiming it's "tyrannical and unprecedented" that the government enforces Title IX as it has for decades against schools. He's never had any interest in lower college sports, especially not women's sports, so he doesn't know that the government threatens schools all the time unless they shut down male athletic teams or increase the number of female teams. The Biden Administration changed the meaning of "sex" to "gender identity" so that the law couldn't be used to block males in women's sports. An interpretation that everyone on Earth should realize the Supreme Court wouldn't uphold anyway because the executive completely redefining words in legislation to do whatever it wants would be tyrannical and unprecedented. You'd think Tony would remember the controversy over signing statements even though those weren't truly legally binding unlike what the Biden Administration did in unilaterally changing the meaning of federal law.

Just think about how you'd feel if you got a new haircut or a new pair of shoes, or anything new that you thought was really cool, and all your friends said you looked wonderful or at least nodded along, and you felt great about yourself. And then imagine finding out later that everyone actually thought you looked ridiculous, but didn't say anything because they were intimidated or because they wanted to be kind.

And then imagine having that same realization: that no one is really on your side, that everyone--the whole country--has either been laughing at you behind your back or just nodding along to be nice.

Only it's not about getting a bad haircut or some funny-looking shoes, it's about cutting your own dick off and marrying another man.

Absolutely fucking hilarious.

Agree with what you said, but remember that people weren't being nice, they were in fear of being doxed, losing their jobs, being called a twansphobe. No one believed that troons were really women, they were afraid of the consequences of not toeing the line.

Tony and his cult don't even understand how civil protest is supposed to work. For example, the Montgomery bus boycott lasted for more than a year. Here, Tony and his fellow perverts show up one time for a couple hours and then leave, never to be heard from again. Even worse, they show up in the evening and on the weekend when the disruption from the "protest" is significantly mitigated.
