That would be the *reasonable* expectation. As it stands, I think there will be a grim, doomed litigation arc of Penny and Co laying a big claim on the estate for "nursing home care" just to really and trully poison things.
Being troonroaches they'll probably completely destroy the property given any control over it, much like they destroyed all the alpacas and the property itself and even poisoned the land for decades to come.

The gramps also have at least a couple other children and grandchildren, to share the inheritance/property assets with when they die, rather than the true and honest natural order of it flowing to the Tranchers sticky hands after the old couple are lovingly given a community burial / death-pitted in the field like the 'paccas.
If the grandparents already have a trust, I could see them leaving that property to Penny specifically as his share of their assets. They seem like they're moderately well off, at least enough that they have multiple properties, and if one of the grandkids is useless/a sex offender/etc sometimes grandma and grandpa will consider 'this grandchild is too retarded to keep a roof over their head any other way'. I wouldn't be super surprised if this house went to Penny (though I'm sure he'd manage to bitch about not getting a chunk of cash outright even if they left him this).

I hope their will names Catholic Charities as the sole beneficiary.
and I hope it's a surprise.

I found Jen's RPG Maker forums account (a). Activity picked up a little after Jen's bluesky ban, he stays on topic about his game, and isn't sperging out. jen1.png

The last three youtube links on the Tenacious Unicorn patreon updates were visible. No one speaks in any of the videos, and the one posted two weeks ago only had 2 views.
This one of Penny feeding the animals in the snow is the most interesting, as we get a closer look at the animals. Hilariously they still have no feeder, and the pellets are split between three buckets and spilled over the snow.

The Feb10 videos are just long shots of the alpacas standing around. The muck masters, the higher tier of the patreon, is just a continuation of the support team video with no difference in content.

It's alarming that they were able to re-open their alpaca "re-education camp." It's alarming that people willingly sold them alpacas. No background check? It's like watching Höss somehow escapeto Argentina and then Peron lets him open a new camp in Patagonia.

The few remaining alpacas are ones that they brought with them from the Tranch, they have no desire to try that particular experiment again I don't think.

Most of them were given to them. It's a sad fact that a lot of hipster idiots decide hey wouldn't it be cool to run an alpaca ranch and then realize too late that ranching is not actually easy. So they want to get all these animals off their hands but there's no real market for them, at least not in the quantities they have.

So they just dumped them off on these troons, glad to get rid of them, and not really caring whether the troons would just murder them all out of the same incompetence that caused the givers to obtain them.

There is a more practical reason than wannabe farmers. Raising alpacas was never profitable in the USA. Americans started raising alpacas on hobby farms to have the minimum number of animals of the minimum classification to qualify for small farm tax breaks and business write offs. Do you live on a couple acres have decent income and want to buy a tractor? Buy some alpacas and call it a business expense. What use are the animals? Put them in the ground or in this case dump them on some delusional losers.
