I’m more curious how many will get fired again at the next job for still being lazy pieces of shit. Seriously, everything we’ve uncovered in the past 2 weeks has explained so fucking much about the government’s bloat and inefficiency.

The ones refusing the buyout know there are no other jobs for them. Those who are leaving at least believe they're employable in the real world.

Lets not forget that it's not 8 months of unemployment. It's 8 weeks of paid leave. That entire time they're job searching they can still claim to be an active federal employee.

If you can't find a job in the private sector for some lefty NGO or charity or what have you while being an active federal employee, then you're just not trying. You must have figured you had slotted into a spot in the machine that is owed to you, and planned to sit there absorbing a paycheck for the rest of your life.

If I was given the opportunity to be paid for 8 months I'd jump at it. A ton of people would. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to not only take a break but to reorganize your life, find a hobby, learn something new, travel a bit, maybe find a better place to settle in and a job you'd like.

That these people don't see it as that proves they're borderline incompatible with life level retarded.

As mentioned, their entire worldview revolves around the idea that they were going to slot into the government job they were "owed" and never leave. The idea of a layoff is incomprehensible gibberish to them. "What do you mean my job no longer exists? Of course I exist!"

This is before you add the cult-of-the-machine, "deep state" attitude they have.

There is the issue of if there is any funding for the 8 months paid leave. Musk did the same thing for Twitter and some people that took the deal did not receive any paid leave.

What happens if there is a government shutdown? Do they still receive paid leave?

I went to the DOEoffice building once for work and I kid you not every. single. worker. was black. EVERY EMPLOYEE! And they had the lib flags up on every single window out front. I don't see anything wrong with gutting it and restructuring because there's something seriously wrong there.
