I'd argue that it was Griswold v Connecticut. That case was terrible, both from a legal perspective and a societal perspective.
The Warren/Burger Courts were terribly (both in the sense of an intensifier and as in being bad at) activist Courts, bound and determined to move America past its conservative/Puritan inclinations. To that end, the justices often came to their preferred results and then worked backwards to find (or when necessary twist) the law to fit the record. This approach was particularly noticeable in the Roe v. Wade and  Griswold cases. (Even turbo-lib Ruth Bader Ginsburg was well-known in her disagreement with the (lack of) reasoning in the  Roe opinion.)

I really do think that his near assassination was a religious awakening for him
I mean, who wouldn’t? The odds of that bullet missing him were effectively zero and by pure coincidence he happened to turn his head to look at a graph he didn’t even need to personally look at.
Any sane person in that situation would consider that some sort of divine intervention.
It reminds me of the anecdote about George Washington during his time in the French and Indian War. He had to flee heavy bullet fire with his men. He made it out completely unharmed, but when he took off his jacket he noticed several holes from bullets that narrowly missed him. Had any one of them hit, he would have been killed and never go on to lead the revolution.

Edit: giving an archived citation for those who didn’t know the story

Fort Cumberld 18th July 1755

Dear Brother

As I have heard since my arrivl at this place, a circumstantial acct of my death and dying Speech, I take this early oppertunity of contradicting the first, and of assuring you that I have not, as yet, composed the latter. But by the all powerful dispensatns of Providence, that I have been protected beyond all human probability & expectation for I had 4 Bullets through my Coat, and two Horses shot under me yet although death was levelling my companions on every side of me. escaped unhurt. - George Washington

Old colonial English, so a bit hard to understand, but he’s basically telling his brother that he’s was recently told that people were saying he died and have been spreading a dying speech, so he wanted to reassure him that he was in fact alive, albeit by divine intervention since his coat had 4 bullet holes and two of the horses he rode were shot dead. This was 21 years before the revolution

Oh no, based DOGE staffer down!

View attachment 6950750

Short version:

Marko Elez, one of the two primary DOGE emissaries embedded in the Treasury Department, resigned from the Musk-led agency, the White House told The Wall Street Journal, after the publication uncovered Elez’s ties to a since-deleted X account with racist posts including calling for “eugenic immigration policy” and to “normalize Indian hate.”

(not my highlight, archive is taking a while)

I bet it was the normalize Indian hate that got him. Dude apparently worked in Silicon Valley for a bit so I get it.
How do we get the zoomer doge workers to post here. "eugenic immigration policy" and "normalize indian hate" has to just be the tip of the iceberg.
God damn it, they still bow to this bullshit.
His mistake was insulting pajeets. If it was trannies he would've been fine which hey baby steps.

George Washington was inspired to lead Americans to freedom by his near-death experience.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, was inspired to lead Israel to greatness by his.

You sure seem to be inferring a lot from data that isn't there. Was that tweet supposed to confirm that Trump's going to ship thousands of American troops to die for Israel? I didn't see that.
People who shit on Trump for being “Zion Don” are retarded, do I like Trump sucking Israel’s cock? No. But I realize that it is customary for ALL American politicians to do so. Throwing Israel out on its ass is not something we, realistically, can do in a couple weeks. The Israel lobby has enormous influence in Washington and it will take a couple more generations to be free of the Christian love of the state of Israel and the emotional hold the Holocaust has. I am hopeful that as people grow more and more critical of foreign influence and aid, that we can move on from the Zionist project.

Yeah. Anyone who is not an originalist is either lying to themselves or does not care about anything other than results.

Fuck Royce Lamberth. Do you know what he's most famous for? Being the Presiding Judge of the fake court known as the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. You know, the rubber stamp that granted well over 99% of the requests filed by it to spy on people.
I met Royce Lamberth once, along with Robert Bork. Lamberth huffed his own farts to the nth degree, with not much there there (other than being a Reaganite activist judge).

Bork, OTOH, had a legal mind like a bear trap, even when making chit-chat.

And that, in turn, started with the New Deal, in which the Constitution was demoted from supreme law of the land to a list of suggestions, all of which can be explained away with "muh living document" and lawyers saying the right magic words.

There is a difference between doing the typical "suck the cock give them billions in aid money" and "allow for the mass deportation of Palestinians from Gaza into Europe, redevelop it with our tax money, and hand it over to Israel."

You are insane and deranged and most of all coping if you think otherwise.

Wait… so if anti-gamer articles and Anita Sarkesian were funded by US-AID, does that mean that all of gamer gate; which lead to Trump’s rise in 2016 is all the result of democrats not considering the consequences of wasting all of our money?
Maybe karma is real after all
US-A-ID, the last two letters stand for International Development and not for humanitarian stuff, altho the name is deliberately ambiguous

To be fair, that was the original Israeli plan. The Trump Administration has been very tight-lipped about what this hair-brained scheme of theirs for Gaza actually entails. The Press Secretary claimed it wouldn't necessarily involve troops or spending on our end, but I don't see how that would even be possible.
