I'm sure they've said far worse in private. They've become so corrupt and insular they think democracy is them doing whatever they want.
They've confused 'democracy' with 'bureaucracy'. They think democracy is a hierarchical system of government where feuding factions work with and against each other to enact policy. Obscure laws are cited like biblical verses to support your faction, and decisionmaking ultimately comes down to "higher ups" calling in favors and wielding their clout to get the opposing factions to fold, and the ones that fold do so with the understanding that someday they'll be repayed in kind with cooperation on a different inter-agency dispute. It's feudalism with upward-mobility; instead of being born into a specific faction with a specific class you're hired into it and that defines the rest of your life.

A bunch of Employees are "too stressed" to even work. People in the private sector worry about being fired all the time.

I'm enjoying these salt mines wish there was some easy way to archive every post made around this time.

My previous employer (private manufacturing with old-school people) instructed us on the proper use of a sick day.
"If you are physically able to use your phone to call in a sick day, you are able to come to work".

Since it's Time, most of them aren't biting.

It's a very new post, might be a good one to watch.

>the 'orange side'
man they are getting so much mileage out of this "orange man" thing, imagine explaining this deep hitter to someone who doesn't know the context
"they keep referring to him as 'orange' why is it always 'orange'? is there some deeper meaning here? some reference to his policies or a codeword for something?"
"he had a bad spray tan for a while..."
...
"it looked kinda orange on video"

these peoples' minds are actually deformed by internet memes i don't think they perceive objective images anymore, just associations with whatever common meme references the thing they're looking at, like how chris chan can't imagine a person so he imagines the stylized cartoon of a person with all the usual cartoon tropes instead

That is not true - at the base rate, only GS13s make 100k after reaching step 5 (5+ years in that grade) while in my area GS-12s can reach after a few years. High ranks only go to IT guys or managers tbh.
I feel like you're going to make a fool of yourself here, whereas you could make a fool of yourself there. There you'll get sympathy.

This is only slightly related so I apologize.

A few years ago I was working some plebeian job, had an interaction with some black lady customer where she was being shitty and retarded towards me. Out of nowhere, like it was some sort of own on me, she mentioned she worked for the government. After this was over I looked her up, turns out she was doing some FED job where she approved loans for minority businesses.

I really hope that cunt is out of a job now.

There's a reason the 40k Administratum was portrayed as an insane feudal bureaucracy: it was ripped directly from the British civil service which effectively acts independently of the elected ministers so much there's multiple good comedies on it

the US civil service isn't quite that bad but it's not too far away

I've thought about this in the past, but more in context with zoomers who seem to fit real world items into categories patterned after memes. Like, for a good while all I would hear was how someone was 'Chad', or think about how 'based' and 'red-pilled' entered the popular lexicon -- both of these originate from memes. I'm sure Jean Baudrillard would have plenty to say about this were he still alive; we're moving to like third order simulacra at this point.

Can you archive the relevant pages as *.mhtml files? You can save entire chunks of subreddits in literal nanoseconds, and then open them later in a browser and screenshot them at your leisure.

Yea, that's fucking retarded. There are plenty of things that could make me think it's a good idea to take a sick day, while also not being retarded/soy. Like, if I'm somebody who doesn't normally take sick days, but I randomly got shit sleep for whatever reason and woke up with a bad headache and didn't feel like dealing with that all day at work, I should be able to take a day off. I don't want to sound like a commie, but me not dealing with a splitting headache while I drag myself through work is more important to me than whatever small contribution I would miss giving to some other niggas business. I'm not gunna go through unnecessary pain just to further somebody else's dream that I don't really give a fuck about. That's just me though.
