Definitely, because as Phil said when he set it up, removing the streak DID take away the need to donate immediately. At least in theory. Once Phil figured out he screwed himself, he twisted the new system to basically make it the same thing, where instead of the streak, he now endlessly begs to reach the goals total by some arbitrary time.

I don't think he can stop begging at this point. Since the KC arc it's just constant no matter how much he makes.

Yeah. They've actually admitted that they contribute because they dislike detractors more than they like Phil. Same with PPPig (I call him Triple P, btw). The whole thing hinges on the us vs them mentality. Phil says that the day he's gone, detractors will follow suit, but that's just Phil thinking he's the center of the universe.

The reality is that the day detractors go away, so will the whales because they will no longer have a boogeyman to fight against nor a cause to support. Detractors will move on to another hobby or another lolcow. Obviously there will be talk because these retards dump thousands just to make Doody and co. seethe, which they do because they aren't any smarter either; what people need to realize is that it doesn't matter how much they dump, it will never be enough for Phil. That's the joke: no matter how much money they throw, Phil keeps begging and they keep giving money.

I think it's a mix of Phil's delusion that people love him again (still waiting for someone big to dump on him just for the meltdown) and also the fact he's lost the few things that scared him.
He used to believe that if he begged too much, it would scare away some donators (since he brought this up in the past, people complaining). He did lose some dolphins, but in exchange he now can bleed the whales even more, so it's a net positive in his eyes.
He also lost the WWE Champions stigma where begging too much would bring up the memes about pulls. Since he thinks those are debunked and dead (in reality no one ever cared because everything was already known and even the whales didn't care, so nothing was confirmed or debunked).
And finally, he realized he can do an aggressive beg with a dramatic voice but if he laughs right after that then it's ok because he can claim it's like Kino Casino and it's just "hype" instead of pitifully begging for change.

As others said, he broke his beg limiter and realized he can do it. Just like an addict, he realized the more he does it, the more he gets, that's why it's best to see how far it goes. Let's see how much he can push his whales, because we know Phil won't beg less the more he gets.

I believe that it happened after the "DSP: A decade of failure" documentary, the Yakuza 8 rant at the start of the previous year was the beginning and it just gets worse from there. I don't know about covid-era DSP but before then he is definitely nowhere near this insane and would at least try to clear a game (usually).

1-his “real fans” are ‘tards and have more money than brain cells
2-people have tendencies to donate to lolcows cause “internet culture bro” mentality (basically, people donate to the likes of Chris Chan and KingCobra over them being apart of “internet history” and people want to feel like they’re part of “internet history” too. It’s weird, but that’s one reason why people buy Chris chan’s “art”
3-anti-trolling. People think they’re trolling the “trolls” by donating their parents’ money hard earned money to “combat” the trolls. People think this is “le epic” “4D chess” move. Think edgy 14 year olds. these people aren’t bright

I get where you are coming from and you are not entirely wrong but I wouldn't go with the ban route on it. If someone is stupid enough to give money to Phil, I think it is fine to laugh at them but it is silly to get upset or mad at it. Detractors that get up in a fuss about it are a very vocal minority which does cause the dents and velcro wallets to give more money. But laughing at them and pointing out that they are throwing money into a gin soaked, floppy titted void is deserved. We are long since past the days of early Twitch where you could throw Phil 50 bitch here and he would rage for ten to fifteen minutes. It takes real money to get him motivated and people are genuinely exceptional if they give to him like that. Observing and laughing at exceptional people is the point of this site. We don't need to gatekeep like the SoK did. They are gone. We don't need to take up their mantle.

Tl;Dr - Everyone just needs to relax and laugh.
