Dude, take a fucking break then.
The issue with trannies is that they cant take a break. They overload themselves with work just to distract themselves from shitty thoughts about themselves and everything around them. Yeah all the work is tiring too and the pain still seeps through it, but the moment you remove all the work they are confronted with themselves. What they disfigured into. The undeniably masculine face in the mirror, polluted with rainbow hair and "girly" glasses

An R4L maintainer quit after multiple rounds of hostility, including
some completely unacceptable public comments bordering on downright
harassment from tytso, a situation which was widely publicized.

If, according to you, that's "shockingly smooth" with "no outsized
drama" other than "what I stirred up" (I guess you also missed the whole
LWN post about this thread before I posted anything on Fedi? That's how
I even found out about this), then I'm glad I'm disengaging with this
community. The Stockholm syndrome and utter denial is palpable.

I thought I could work with you on these issues; I don't know what
happened over the past year since we last had a private conversation
about this, but clearly you've changed your mind.

Thus, as you kindly requested of me in social media,

https://chaos.social/@sima/113961283260455876

I will now proceed to fuck off. Good luck.

Oh, and one last thing. I've heard that, in whatever backroom
conversations you've been having about this situation, there has
apparently been a belief, explicit or implicit, that I am in any way
employed to work on the Linux kernel.

Unlike most people in this thread, I don't enjoy the luxury of a cushy
tech job that pays me to deal with this community. I am supported
exclusively by donations, which incidentally, have been steadily
*de*creasing since the start of the Asahi Linux project. The project has
zero corporate sponsorship.

And I do believe the fact that essentially all high-level Linux kernel
maintainers and contributors are paid by corporations to do it is a
major factor that has caused this community to become wildly out of
touch with what it means to be a community FOSS project.

Greg KH (Robin to Linus's Batman, pretty much) steps in with his own take:

Please note, that ever since I started keeping track of this type of
thing, way back in 2003 or so, it has been the case that over 80% of the
contributions come from company-funded developers. Which means it
really goes back before that as well.

And that's good, it means that we have backing to do this properly, from
the companies that benifit from it. To not have that would make it much
harder for any of this to work properly at all.

So don't try to play the "you all work for companies" card, that isn't
going to fly as obviously we all speak for ourselves here, and our
companies _know_ they can't tell us what to do, but they give us insight
into the problems that they have with Linux in order for us to help
change it to make it better for everyone.

Because again, everyone has the same problems (individuals and
companies), and so solving it for one "group", solves it for everyone.

I feel like Rust, anime, and porn all need a disclaimer now: "May cause birth defects in grown ass adults."

I hate the fact that this is called a "theory". It's not a fucking theory, it doesn't explain or predict anything, it's a nonsensical metaphor dreamt up by a crazy person. I also find it weird that autists seem to love it so much, considering they usually struggle to see the point in metaphors. Is there a good reason this shit is taken so seriously?
Not just that but he assumes that everyone will intimately know whatever deranged pseudoscientific theory he happens to be talking about

The reason nobody wants to hire you to write Asahi Hector, is because nobody has a financial interest in running Linux on a fucking MacBook. Not a single soul. You can't pursue your own autism special interest nobody cares about then throw all your toys out the pram when nobody cares.

I'm begging you to take your skills and put them towards something that matters, then maybe you won't feel the need to LARP as an anime girl online to feel better about yourself.

This just goes to show how useless these corporate codes of conduct are. The Linux FOSS under its CoC is still a pit of vipers. In large part due to Linus being a proudly and openly rude and nasty throbbing asshole himself. It doesn't foster real inclusivity and camaraderie or even the fake values it says it does whenever Lord Linus finds it inconvenient. If Linus was just some regular schmuck theres a high probability he would have been yeeted long ago by his own CoC no matter how right or wrong he was. But because he's lord master and against someone unpopular he wins. The CoC did nothing. Linus's massive ego just clashed with and removed another asshole who was less powerful. The CoC doesn't do anything other than serve as a convenient cudgel for the popular and powerful to get rid of unliked people and for performative purposes.

Maybe if Hector did something that had more value to people, he might have one of those "cushy" jobs he seems so jealous of.
But he DID have a cushy tech job at Pixiv (Japanese DeviantArt-like site) didn't he? Didn't he decide to abandon it to work on Asahi full time? He can't bitch about living off donations, he CHOSE this.

All in all, I think this drama can be summed up with one image:

I'm not a tech guy. But basically, is this him just being bitter that other maintainers are employed lol?

He probably transed out, and "killed off" his old ID.
No, he's definitely dead. You can blame Hector for being such a goddamn liar that he can't even say something true without embroidering it with so many goddamn lies that nobody believes the actually true part.

It was actually Kiwi Farmers who finally proved it after going through the Kafkaesque nightmare of Japanese records procedures. None of the troons who pushed the narrative ever bothered getting actual evidence.

The issue with trannies is that they cant take a break. They overload themselves with work just to distract themselves from shitty thoughts about themselves and everything around them.
They're usually the exact opposite. Hector is, or has been, as insufferable as he is, one of the few counter examples of a troon who actually produces shit. Even famous troons who have accomplished real things usually did it before trooning, because just being a troon is a full-time job. You have to do nothing but troon out all day. They don't contribute to work. They not only don't work, they spend all their time at a job autistically screeching and making sure nobody else can get any work done either.

That's why troon-infested enterprises devote themselves to spreading troonery and spectacularly commit suicide to do it like a cordyceps infected ant. You thought you had a free software project? Add troons. Nope. You now have a troon project. You thought you had a game studio? No, you now have a troon studio. Etc.

It looks like Hector has decided to go full troon and stop anything remotely useful he used to do, as troons generally do after trooning out.

It was a useful metaphor to explain the variable effect of fatigue, which can be a real problem for people with chronic health issues (like anaemia, or cancer). Like all useful things, it has been hijacked, warped, twisted, and made utterly useless by self-obsessed, work-shy narcissists who want to lord over everyone around them.

Late as hell to this thread, but I used to be really big into keeping up with the Wii homebrew scene back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. My dumbass younger self was always in awe of the things that they did and thought of them as some crazy-talented, stylized, cool hacker types. Sad as hell to see how many of the people involved with that scene don't look anything like Neo, but instead like the slobbier of the two Wachowski troons. And that's not even to mention being such a fucking miserable bastard that you get told to fuck off by Linus himself.
