I feel like the next year or two, and especially the next couple of months, will really seal Eden's fate. There's a part of him that realizes he fucked up with the gross sex in Walmart shit, that realizes he shouldn't spend money the way he does, that his "friends" are failures as people, and I think if that part could just be nurtured more he might actually break free of the rat king. Unfortunately given that he's becoming more isolated from anyone other than troons and that they enable and excuse his bad behavior, he's probably going to end up just intensifying the dumb shit he does and spiraling further into hopelessness.

I'll disagree.
If Eden were in a situation where all of this happened to him - like if someone had stolen these pictures or revealed these thoughts and writings that Eden had kept private - then I'd be on board with your analysis and I would think and hope that Eden could turn it around. But that isn't what happened, Eden intentionally put himself into this situation. Simply put, you have to be remarkably stupid or have a serious intellectual disability (See: Troy Rangi) to do such a thing. Her life isn't fucked because of embarrassing pictures and text, it's fucked because she doesn't understand that she should be embarrassed by them. Anyone who stands a chance at living a productive life isn't that stupid.
I think that the best case scenario for her is a chance encounter with a MTF who isn't totally fucking retarded and has their shit together, and maybe she'll try to emulate them and realize that being a MTF isn't synonymous with being a garbage human - but I think even if this encounter were to happen, she'd fail at emulating this person in the end.

This dude is an emotional roller-coaster and until he fixes that he'll continue to ruin his life. I could see him growing out of his current diva/bitch/slut/sobbing wreck persona if he made some drastic changes but that would require effort. A lot of effort. He's too busy being depressed about his acne-ridden permanent-teenager looking face and hoping to slut his way to happiness for any of that. He has (at a minimum) no self-esteem, a huge ego, an overwhelming libido, no worthwhile skills, shitty associates, terrible SEO, and is probably too narcissistic and chickenshit for suicide. That is a hell of a lot to overcome and the odds don't look good from where I'm sitting.

What gives me some hope is that when he was fired, he did at least admit that it was his fault. But the fact that he's saying he's only talking to the Rat King is not a good sign. They'll do their damnedest to talk him around to the idea that it's society's fault that he can't blow disease-ridden strangers in a Wal-Mart bathroom, that he's helpless in the face of misfortune, that the world is a horrible place, that every self-destructive act he performs is a great idea and every step away from the autogynephile community is a betrayal.

Maybe, but I actually dont think you have to actually be abandoned as a kid to have abandonment issues. The common denominator with the "snowflake generation raised on TVs" is that they really never had a ton of parental guidance. Neglect is still a form of abuse, but it's not as awful as the other forms so nobody really cares, because it's easy to let it slide and it doesnt look as unpleasant as any other type of abuse. You cant just have a kid and then say, well, food, a roof over your head, and clean water is good enough. They're basically your pet at that point, and if they go out into the world by themselves at 6 years old, or whatever, and get into trouble or get up to some shit and you dont really care as long as they come home on time and go to school like they should and dont get arrested--that's not gonna make a functional adult. You actually need to care about your kid, genuinely, or they're gonna have issues.
