Not sure the best title for this but they effectively have a bunch of fancy jobs advising various important people om the economy. When I say fancy I mean connected to top national government institutions and politicians.

I didn't check every single link, but I did click on half a dozen and they were all pretty shit sources. YouTube videos and gendersyphoria.fyi mostly. One was an actual scientific study... kind of (but not really). They basically just read some other scientific papers and concluded that gender identity must be a real, biological thing.

Sources used were drawn from PubMed, NHS Digital databases and relevant publicly available online resources, including World Health Organization. Search terms used include “gonadal development”, “fetal brain development”, “gender”, “SRY” and “testosterone”. To refine the search, specific terms such as “diagnosis” and “abnormalities” were also used. These terms were used to make a Boolean algorithm. Non-English articles were excluded to ensure consistency of relevant terminology. All referenced articles were read in full. A specific focus was put on articles within the last 20 years as this field of science and psychology is novel, although older papers were reviewed when concerning a first discovery. Only research articles that were focused on human research were selected, with materials on non-human animals being disregarded.

This paper reviewed the literature to explore the link between genetic influences and brain development, and their impact on gender identity. Investigating these developmental mechanisms could lead to advances in the understanding of gender dysphoria, a condition whereby an individual’s gender and biological sex are mismatched. Exploring the biochemical development of the genitalia highlights the differences between males and females, notably how testosterone elicits the pathways of male development in an embryo. When research has been conducted in people with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, a condition where the testosterone receptor is mutated and faulty, and thus cannot function, gender dysphoria is observed as the body is genetically male but anatomically female. It is known that the structure of male and female brains differs; it is found that people with gender dysphoria have a brain structure more comparable to the gender to which they identify. The review of the literature suggests that there is a disparity between the brains of those who identify differently to their assigned gender at birth, highlighting a multifactorial underpinning of the gender identity. Further research is required to shed light on the molecular mechanism of this, allowing for greater education and understanding of this scientific and social phenomenon.

This is the by far the best source he's posted that I've seen and it's unbelievably shit. Does Brian actually think that this shit is convincing or does he just hope that most skeptics will be too intimidated to look further? It's ironic that he accuses anyone of having a 10th grade understanding of biology when his argument is reliant on pablum like this.

Oh please. Brian Riedl is not the head of the US economy, and you’re grossly overstating his power and influence. He was a shitkicker advisor in Congress, and now works at a think tank and spends most of his time complaining about runaway federal debt, and gee hasn’t that been effective.

Trump has literally no intention of cutting Federal spending in any meaningful way because he won’t touch muh gibs or increase taxes, and that is what Riedl advocates for. Wearing a dress and calling himself Jessica isn’t doing him any favours with the God Emperor and Musk, nor is writing papers saying they’re wrong. But yeah, he’s the head of the US economy and is super connected and powerful. Glad everyone got to sperg out and get their tingles over this non-story. Faggots.

It's not so much a story because he's in some super important position, but because he's (ostensibly) a conservative-leaning libertarian at an actual conservative thinktank (Manhattan Institute, home of Chris Rufo etc) and has worked across other right-ish institutions.

So whether he's a longtime subversive who just said enough lolberty things to get work at these places, or he's recently gone crazy, any organization that claims to be conservative and actually wants to move things rightward is going to have to disassociate with him, otherwise they'll just show themselves to be ConInc. controlled opposition.
