I believe that Nick THINKS he loves April, but he's actually mistaking something new with love. He was bored with Kayla and the trad dad life, and April's pussy was different enough to break the mundanity. He thinks this means love, but I guarantee if he did choose April in like a year he'd get used to her, start noticing her flaws and start resenting her the same way he does his family.
